Loved

Sienna (Her hair was like Carmen Kass's for a photoshoot, forgot the label)

You're thinking of Narciso Rodriguez "For Her" perfume ad. I love that too!

I haven't had a chance to see everyone's look but at a glance I think this was a really crap year, fashion-wise and makeup/hair stylewise.
Mary Louise Parker scared the crap out of me with her creepy eye makeup. Yikes!

Although their looks were simple and similar these two really stood out to me: Mary J Blige and Rachel Weisz. Beautiful vibrant red, column dresses, complementing their skintones prefectly. And great makeup too! People often underestimate the power of colour tone. I literally cannot tear my eyes away from these women in those dresses.

Thanks gr77 for the beautiful picture of Mia! She looks gorgeous...karma....:flower:

I guess I haven't seen them all but these were my favourites:

Kate Winslet - gorgeous dress, perfect make-up. guess nothing could make her ugly anyway, stunning as she is.

Rinko - liked her in Babel already, she's very gorgeous and I found her dress refreshing.

Evangeline - loved her hair. she's such a natural beauty also, and what is it with that strange not-so-spectaculary-dressed-herself lady on E!, who kept bashing her for taking a dress that looked/was older?! geeze, give me a break.

Eva Longoria - dress looked amazing on the back, and I couldn't find anything wrong with her hair either...

now I'm pretty sure I forgot a ton...alzheimer's saying hi...

There is a ton of red carpet gossip over at this website from someone who was there.....http://crazydaysandnights.blogspot.com/

It seems like the lady everyone was talking about last night was Reese Witherspoon! Love her! (see what the blogger has to say on Golden Globes Part 4)

thanks for the link.:flower: LOL on a particular comment about a particular couple.

I love Leo and I think he was robbed. But it must have felt awful for him. I mean, everybody saying you are the man of the moment, that you are going to steal the show and everything for weeks and then go empt handed. Ouch  .

But he will win the Oscar and shut everybody up. :muscles:

Best:
Helen Mirren
Naomi Watts
Sarah Jessica Parker
Rachel Weisz
Reese Witherspoon
Emily Blunt

Worst:
Hilary Swank
Cate Blanchett
Nicolette Sheridan
Maggie Gylenhaal
Evengeline Lilly
Beyonce

Penelope Cruz looked beautiful, but dress itself was too big for Globes
Kate Winslet is so boring, always the same hair, the same type of dresses
Renee Zellweger is even more boring than Winslet
Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez really surprised me... in a good way

I lovelovelove How Reese looks. Does anyone know who designed the dress and shoes?

64th Annual Golden Globes Awards

I haven't found a thread on this yet, and I checked...so if there is one...I highly apologize. :ninja:

What do you think of everyone's outfits? Anyone in particular you really like, or dislike? Post your opinions! :flower: :woot:

Awards-wise there were few sure things at the Golden Globes, but on the red carpet at least, there were plenty of winning looks. Penélope Cruz played the femme fatale in Chanel "My friend, Karl, made this for me" Haute Couture. Joining her in black dresses were Best Supporting Actress nominee Cate Blanchett, in lacy Alexander McQueen with a long train, and Best Supporting Actress winner Jennifer Hudson in Vera Wang.

The single-again Cameron Diaz chose white Valentino. It was the color of the evening, with Salma Hayek, Kate Winslet, Ellen Pompeo, and Sarah Paulson following suit in drapey goddess gowns. Strapless numbers and the sculpted shoulders they showed off were another strong theme; Reese Witherspoon chose a yellow silk floral jacquard dress by the new man at Nina Ricci, Olivier Theyskens.

Chloë Sevigny, who arrived with her Big Love cohorts, stood out in one of the evening's few prints, a crescent-patterned one-shoulder style from Yves Saint Laurent. Other TV stars—Sarah Jessica Parker, Tina Fey, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, among them—along with Renée Zellweger, went short.

It was a big night for newcomers—of the actress and designer variety. The Marchesa duo scored a twofer with both Jennifer Lopez and Sienna Miller wearing their creations. And the young New Yorker Brian Reyes dressed the very pretty America Ferrera, of Ugly Betty fame.
