I've seen 2046, but I'm afraid I don't quite remember what it was about, I don't even remember Ms Gong being in the movie
She was also in Miami Vice, and Hannibal Rising huh
and Flirting Scholar? I just checked Wiki for its English name, I guess that was one of her rare stints at comedy.
A Terra-Cotta Warrior - this movie used to freak me out as a kid.

In terms of movies, I'll recommend:

1) To Live
2) Farewell My Concubine - I would rate this as one of the best films of all time. The plot, the cinematography, the subtle layers and meaning, the depth, emotions, all tie in flawlessly. Tour de force in every sense of the word.

Regarding cleavage These are from xinhuanet.com and feature Gong Li and TV actress Huo Siyan discussing something. According to xinhuanet it is from the same event. Seems that when LV opens a "flagship" store in China (or maybe anywhere) the celebrations go on for quite a while!

^They were part of the 13th Shanghai International Film Festival (or at least the press conference and premiere were in at the same time and place )

There wasn't anything in the Chinese entertainment press about her tripping and that is usually the kind of thing they are all over, especially since Gong Li gave up her Chinese citizenship to become a citizen of Singapore. If she did trip I would love to see the pictures.
