That's her parents to her right and her brother and sister sitting on the gound- yes?

Good photo of Grace's car from Thief...This picture is of the car in "Alpine Mist" . This standard color is often mistaken for the darker "Sapphire Blue" used in the the Technicolor "To Catch a Thief" car....So says the web site... This will be on the final, needless to say... B)

Statue of Jack Kelly, Grace's father of course, on Kelly Drive at the Schuylkill River on Boathouse Row in Philadelphia... I used to run right past this almost every day when I was going to college in Philly (and ran a lot...) It is really beautiful!

"In the 1920 Olympics he became the only man to ever win the Singles and Doubles events- and on the same day!! He repeated the Doubles victory in the 1924 Games. He competed in every event in sculling and collected the greatest number of championships ever won by an individual."

^^ Yes, it seems like World Class Athlete and Total Jerk are almost interchangeable terms...

It was my pleasure! I hope people enjoy watching it. ^_^

You know, I can't really recommend any particular biography. There has yet to be a definitive biography on Grace. Either they're poorly written or too slanted toward Grace the victim or Grace the fairy tale princess. Most of the biographies on her have long been out-of-print, so right there your choice is narrowed down for you. I purchased the now out-of-print "Princess Grace" by Gwen Robyns from a used book store, but I have yet to read it. Other fans seem to like it (or they don't absolutely despise it, whichever way you want to put it :P) and it was written by someone who actually knew Grace (they co-wrote "My Book of Flowers"). However, until a great writer comes along who has total support from the family (and therefore access to much personal information, letters, etc.) and who is able to piece together her life in an unbiased manner, there won't be a biography out there worth recommending.

Thanks, jdsnitch. It's a shame there isn't a definitive biography of Grace yet. So many people are still fascinated with her today and she seemed like such a complex and interesting woman it would be nice if a worthwhile biography is written about her that's not biased or filled with conjecture.

FYI, ABE Books has a couple of the out of print bios available, if you'd like to check for them...I've found several older books through them and a lot of them are used or leftovers and pretty cheap...^_^ I always find most celeb bios a mixed bag- either ripping them or pure PR exercises...I just read them all about people I'm interested in and try to find the truth somewhere between the lines...

Well, there is an unauthorized, very thorough book coming out on Doris Day next month-hopefully the guy who did that book might consider doing one on Grace
