I watched Bridges of Toko Ri and I still cannot determine Grace's acting skills. I don't think she had a lot of range and I think she was very 50s in terms of her acting style, if that makes any sense. Her voice is very mannered. What did Grace's peers think of her acting?

I don't know what Grace's peers though of her acting but I agree your comments about Grace's acting skills, scriptgirl. Grace was still only relatively new to film and Hollywood though so I don't think she reached her full potential. I think if she had satyed in Hollywood she could have tried to broaden her range and improve her skills.
