Interesting that Grace never really had very long hair (only one picture I can recall), nor very short hair. Always medium-length and pulled up in chignons.Of course these two styles really set off her perfect face.

She wears dresses like no one else, I mean the fifties style, rather longish, small waist, belted, usually a flower motif. Because of her height ? her long legs ? She really makes me want to see that style reappear but I know not many women could pull it off: you have to have such perfect proportions.

I love 'em!! I see a lot of Dior and YSL in those dresses- things you don't see much of today... But as you say- you have to be tall and slender with a wasp waist and not too much in the chest area- which leaves out a very large part of the population!!

Grace had longer hair when she was older but like you said not very long. I always preferred her with shorter hair. It was so her!

Haha. I was just in Philadelphia about two weeks ago and times have definitely changed. Chestnut Hill is just not as upscale and proper as it once was.
