I really like her as an actress; I just watched Lola Versus the other night, and while it wasn't the best movie ever, she was very fun to watch.

It seems strange that she never gets bothered by paps or whatever; there are so few pictures of her! I guess Frances Ha comes out on DVD soon - can't wait to see it, have heard so many good things.

Great article about Frances Ha and Greta's performance in it. It also discusses/shows some of the influences; I saw a few interviews from film fests with both Gerwig and Baumbauch and they are very open about alluding to the likes of Woody Allen and several French New Wave films, too.

I love her, and I just keep watching that Arcade Fire video. I also rewatched Frances Ha on Netflix (yes, it's on there if you didn't know that!) and it actually improved for me, surprisingly. I liked it enough the first time round. There were little things that I missed when I first saw it in the cinema. I hope she at least gets a Globe nomination.

Thanks, Lola, for all the Greta love. I have a serious girl crush on her. First I watched Lola Versus, then rewatched Greenberg, then I watched Frances Ha - two times the same day - and then I played "Modern Love" 50 times in a row and watched every single interview with her on YouTube! I've asked for the Criterion Edition of the film for Christmas and plan to teach it next fall. I am seriously in love with that movie. And YES, she must must must get some sort of nomination; she carries that role so beautifully, and she co-wrote it too. Oh, and Iove Mickey Sumner in the film too. Omg, I have to go rewatch it right now, ha ha!
