Gucci ‘GG Monogram’ 2025 : Emily Ratajkowski & Kit Butler by Daniel Arnold

And it should be like that scene in Dallas, where we'd wake up to find Tom Ford in the shower, because it's all been a terrible dream...

Although I think he said he was more into baths. I mean, maybe he is.

The way I laughed so hard as soon as I read Emily for Gucci and the way I laughed even harder after watching the video commercial LOL
By Zanola of course...2 years ago we had Kendall flying commercial for the first time in her life thanks to Gucci, last year we had Sinner throwing ice balls made of absestos at Kendall, this year we have Emily enjoying her sugar daddy benefits.
If Cantino thinks this will elevate Gucci image or increase sells...
Also kinda ridicolous to release such a campaign when in two months Demna gonna swipe everything off and drastically change brand aesthetic.
Gucci confirms once again to be a terribly managed company, they have an endless amount of more renown and influential celebs and they end up with someone Who was never associated with Gucci, oh well...

I think it’s a very smart pairing. she’s an it girl either we like it or not and this monogram line being ‘mainstream luxury’ fits her like a glove.

adding Kit was also very smart because he adds that fashion bit that the campaign as a whole, needs.

I really now believe that they don’t know what they’re doing. Haven’t they realized that these merch actually don’t hold that much value now and insisting on them will further cheapen Gucci?

It’s quite tacky…
I hope they changed their whole classic collection. I have seen versions of the double G that were good but this one is just too much.

I don’t mind Emily but I’m confused. Why not have someone known for their style?

They are really « à côté de la plaque ». They don’t even know how to sell properly their classic stuff.

They wanted elevation and they are doing everything they can to make the brand even more cheap than it already is? I don’t know if that’s possible, but it looks like they are trying.

This will be studied in fashion history books. This is embarrassing to a point there are not even worlds to describe it. It’s not even desperation, it’s something else. If you are desperate you go for a big celeb, but this?

Wow… Kering is the biggest train wreck my eyes have ever witnessed in business.

I just can’t. It’s not even funny. It’s so poorly managed… these people are getting millions. I am sure they take themselves super seriously and they think they are great. I can’t.

Does campaign spread like crazy on social media? YES

Do we talk about it? YES

Do we want the bags? YES

THEY DID THEIR GOAL.

Personally I find campaign very quirky! Kind’ve cool! But nothing groundbreaking!

Okay Next!!! 😁

At a time when spending on "luxury" is in decline, I'd be surprised if anyone pays the currently inflated ££££ prices for Gucci canvas products, they're more likely to swivel to a contemporary brand like Coach or Michael Kors for a canvas bag at a tenth of the price - or pick up something similar to Gucci from a stall.

Emily ratajkowski in 2025 is truly a choice she has dkny at best vibes in terms of relevance now
