Gucci Mens F/W 09.10 Milan

Oh good, Frida's trying something new.

Does anyone else think that maybe, just maybe, the people who put greyhounds and horses out of their misery when they can no longer race are onto something....not that you could compare Frida to a horse with a lame leg or anything :ninja:

Every single element frm the collection are used before.

Can't say it's a HORRIBLE collection, but definitely is a boring one.

A very tired, dated and poorly executed concept. Everything she does is just truly horrid. Her clothes have always looked cheap but now she's also slacking in the accessories front

Exactly. She's never had an orginal or even interesting idea for the womens line either, clearly this is carrying over to menswear.

Honestly, why is she still designing for Gucci?

it looks very déjà-vu, non ?
some of the looks are just horrible ....... that i don't even want to look at the outfits ....

but some looks are nice .... i think someone said tom ford .... well indeed the grey suit + red top is very tom ford .... circa 2004 (? AW 04 ?)

:flower:i didn't remember the concrete season..just a direct feeling...

Reminds me SO much of the current Kris Van Assche's Dior homme.

Her best menswear collection , together with FW08
I love the jackets

:innocent: I know what you mean. And she does use those horsebits quite a bit...maybe we could find a blind euthanasianizer...he could be fooled...:innocent:

My old forty year old home-ec teacher has that grey leopard cardigan in post 8. I'm sure she and Frida would get along well.

I cannot say anything that I have not said before. It's just boring and highly uninspired. :(

I like some of the pieces but overall the entire collection is awful.

I'm bored.

What are with the really obvious menswear trends this season? Does menswear usually have lots of trends?
I've also seen short single/double breasted blazers at Marni and now here. And I like them.
I'm liking all of the apparent trends.

Despite what people are saying, yes this sort of 'look' has been played out.. but regardless I absolutely love it.

I do actually like this collection, it's more surprising than womenswear.
