Gucci S/S 2008 : Natasha Poly and Mat Gordon by Inez & Vinoodh

This reminds of Givenchy SS 06...probably because of the sky being so prominently present in the ad. Was that I and V as well? It looks good!

That's what I thought... it was indeed I&V as well.

The ad looks nice and all, but honestly Natasha looks like a silly washed-out cartoon.

Natasha looks terrible. That stringy yellow hair does nothing for her at all.

I feel like the clothes don't really do the ads justice. I love the whole statue/sky thing but the shapeless bubble gum dress ruins the classicism for me. Slick her hair back and put her in something that shows her form and it could've been amazing.

I hate her eyebrows and her hair (somehow it looked so much better in the F/W ads), but she is gorgeous and I love her pose. I didn't quite like the collection either, but I wish they had used the Gucci shoes that I actually really liked from the collection.

I like it, the scenery is beautiful, and the pose is very well combined with the statue.
Maybe the eyebrows colour is not so good, but I like the hairstyle

Well this is a very pleasant surprise. I know some of you might think it's boring or that Natasha is just the wrong choice, but I think that for Gucci, this is a breath of fresh air I'm not a fan of Natasha but somehow I like this combination, and I'm surprised it hasn't been done before. She doesn't look that great in the ad but I think she's a good choice as she goes surprisingly well with the sS 08 collection and the season's aesthetics
