Haider Ackermann - Designer, Creative Director of Canada Goose & Tom Ford

^ The price would be 🄵, but his offerings deserve that. Exclusive distribution is what I want from the brand. TF has always been on a higher tier than Bottega, at least from my view.
That's another thing I am curious about, the prices. Haider's own label was priced very high and Tom Ford is high already so I am wondering if the brand will lean to being even more pricey or will it stay the same ?

Satin suit plus the rain that ruined the bottom part are tricky.
Nevertheless, he dressed Madonna and that’s what people will remember. She looks better without the fillers.

So far I think the good choices have been made in terms of PR.
I’m much more curious about his campaigns now and his involvement in Tom Ford beauty.

I guess he will dress some people in Cannes.

Pricepoints will absolutely rise for the mainline, but will likely remain the same for the merch. Besides an industry favourite helming a covetable label and giving it a much deserved and successful refresh with his debut, price increases always get customers hungering for more. The only way is up.

And all I want this winter is a pair of leather Tom Ford pant/jean.

Totally right. I can imagine it sitting more in the HermĆØs or Loro Piana price range. I think the second collection will really show where he's going with things. I am excited to be a customer again.

I've never owned leather trousers in my life and here I am wanting some, too.

^^^ I am actually shocked you don't own a pair of leather trousers, Salvatore! Those leather pant/jean are absolutely fabulous and will serve you well in years to come. A well-constructed and tailored pair of leather pant/jean is like a well-tailored and constructed navy suit: I always want more!

Haider is pulling all the right moves with Tom Ford (…dressing current-day Madonna excluded since she sadly always resembles a Bratz doll now) The exclusive, strictly, for-adults-only designs; the instantly and still effortless worldbuilding showing; the straightup simple sensuality of the campaign. Every component evokes a certain world and certain men and certain women. This isn’t fashion fair the masses. And all this will cost a worthy lot more than before LOOL

HermĆØs is not the highest, compared to Loro Piana, but I have just checked their website and they finally added a France (and Euro) one, it was USA, Canada and UK only before.
Horrible AI translations apart, I don't spot any price increase or extreme prices for RTW nor accessories.

Right ! šŸ˜‚
I didn't feel cool enough to wear them, but I am feeling a change or evolution and feeling they could look great on me ! I loved the cut of the ones Haider did for Tom Ford.

Don't hurry, the website is not stocking any HA creations yet.

^^^But it has the ease in it, proves that he is a pretty versatile designer. I mean not everything needs to be sleek and alluring.

Tom Ford has always been a brand which serves both high fashion womenswear customers and conventional menswear customers, Haider clearly understands the job. Nothing wrong with that ^^

I’d like to see more of that green suede. There’s a toxicity to it that is delightful.

His men’s has a great image, and his tailoring is great. I’d wonder where else it will go though. It is kind of plain, and I’d like some more interesting textiles to shift the rather sartorial take. Also Hoult’s blond I hate. Sorry, but I hate it and the hair just drags it all done. Petty but sue me.

haider has no vision for acc and his taste is too narrow you see with canada goose its already one note and not making buzz nor sales

tom is small and niche enough he can survive there a bit at gucci no never.

but i know he is already showing his toxic ways with the TF design team..... history repeats again.
