Harper's Bazaar Australia December 2009 : Miranda Kerr by Simon Lekias

I love both covers....but I wish they'd take a bit more of a risk with the subscriber covers!
I know this is only the second one - so they're obviously still testing things out....but I hope above hope that they take a leaf out of US & UK Bazaar's book and use an outtake that isn't featured in the mag at all for the subs covers.
That's what truly makes them special and collectable.

The editorial is gorgeous. Love Miranda!

i love this editorial! :heart::heart::heart:
don't like the subscribers cover very much though, the newsstand one seems to be prettier. could anyone scan it?

I love the ed. Gorgeous and dreamy. I dislike both covers, though.:(

The subscribers cover a lot more appealing that the newsstand, which is understandable.
But I still don't mind the newsstand cover. Thanks for posting!

At first glance I really didn't like the cover, but now I do.

I feel the same - at first I thought they'd taken a pretty girl, made her look miserable and then half-covered her face with hair. But there is something appealing about it, something about the shape of her face and the framing of the cover - and we do get a great view of the jewellery.

the script looks horrid. i wish they would have done something more glam with miranda.

Yes I definitely agree! It looks so silly that the subscriber's cover is just a zoomed in version of the ordinary cover.

I wish they have carried on the theme of the editorial onto the cover. The cover is still nice though. And I wish the editorial was longer, I'm sure they had more decent pics than just that.

I prefer her cover to the editorial!
The cover is stunning , her editorial looks ok...

the behind the scenes shots would've made a much nicer editorials. :ninja::heart:

^ I agree. The behind the scenes shots look so dreamy.

I couldn't agree more! It would have been nice to see something different on the subscribers cover, a shot from the editorial would have been lovely.

I really liked the fairy tale theme of the editorial, and wished that we could have seen more shots.

i can't stand miranda usually (she's just too girl-next-door for my liking) but i fell in love with this editorial! australian publication recently have really stepped it up!

EMBARRASSING TO THE HISTORY OF WHAT HARPERS BAZZAR IS SUPPOSE TO LOOK LIKE . Look at UK, US , Singapore, Russia ..... All superior in editorial standards. This is a joke . I'm sorry but where is the high standard ?

and you guys really think Miranda looks good? Take the font and the word Bazaar away , insert Cleo, and I see no difference.

 Stunning editorial.. this is what these UK, US, Singapore editions mentioned above should be doing.. that is the point of an editorial afterall, to be creative, inspire and still sell. I'm so happy both Bazaar and Vogue Australia are suddenly becoming a force on their own and projecting the free spirit of their land to perfection.
thanks, rox_yr_sox.
