hats, caps and headwear for summer 2005

Whats the thing in headwear in 2005?
Here where i live von dutch made it big last year. Tough feels played out now. (yes i know its late tough i live in sweden)
Whats the thing in 2005? Cant be truckers again i hope.

I live in Sweden, too. von dutch didn't make it at all with the real trendy ones, only with some wannabes. In Stockholm I only saw it on complete loosers and ugly yallas...

Same with trucker caps - they were cool for like teens, pre-teens and gangsta chicks. Are you a guy (probably since you're called mannen )? If so, I think you'd better stay away from anything mentioned above and stick to nothing or the kind of mens' hats that were in during the eigthies (think Molly Ringwald's friend in Pretty in Pink). Those hats are bound to come back in style soon - why not make it happen now? They may be more for FW though... B)

Oh, and stay away from bandanas and such - they make me think of the summer before last summer.

well i had von dutch for a while hehe in my town it was big after the summer and i still see lots of people in my school wear them tpugh its only 100.000 in this city

Duckie from Pretty in Pink. REALLY bad picture, though, sorry. But I'm talking about plain mens' hats, you must have seen them. Not really round ones though - too French. Hats are coming big for girls too, but what I really want to see are cool ones for men.

I dunno... Go to some vintage or thrift store and have a look around and I'm sure you'll find plenty of things to wear on your wee head

Actually, wear anything that was NOT trendy last summer. Cause that way you'll at least never be last season, which in my opinion is the worst thing you can be.

I like hats from the 1920's and the 1960's.

I'm not too sure about the material, it's a bit hard to wear hats where its hot all the time.

I dont know about anywere else but were i live at the moment people are wearing elasticy type hairbands (kinda hard to discribe sorry), so i think they'll continue doing so into summer.

yes it is! It's so easy to make, I did the pattern in 2 seconds!..And it's really cute.
