Hedi Slimane - Designer

I guess he has something to say with how this is relevant to the political climate in the United States. I remember when he cancelled a show last time when there were riots.

Is he back in LA full time and those Milan moves nil? He sold his house there years ago.

The boobs thing was supposed to be humorous but I am genuinely curious what people here think of the clip and presumably similar upcoming editorial, because it reads as overtly gay-coded to me. Which is a choice as far as ways of presenting a trans model for what is apparently a women's magazine. Is anyone familiar with the Beyond Noise publication?

Anyways he photographed a butterfly-tattooed vagina before these are just boobs… and definitely not shot to be naughty…

how is it gay-coded? do gay men want to see a trans person dancing naked? I don't personally.
Yes, have you been to a vogue ball or drag show. Gays particularly love seeing trans nearly nude in pasties etc.

This image would not particularly do anything for straight men or any woman I don’t think.

meh its not worth all the fuzz. its very "fashion film 101". Some super skinny person dancing around, smoking, topless with sparkly nipps.

Regardless of who is the model, its nothing new in the realm of fashion.

next.

im pretty sure vogue and drag are the ones taking references from fashion. So much unnecessary hate for a sub-culture... Its not their fault that fashion is soo dead these days that it seems they are referencing drag all the time.
