The recent GQ article confirmed it, not that it was needed really; none of these photos of Hedi have ever been posted elsewhere.
i don't remember it was ever confirmed its his account as the last GQ article stated assumed!! ...means not confirmed !!

GQ ......an Instagram account called Hedi Slimane Homme came online. The first post recapped Slimane’s “Black Tie” collection for Yves Saint Laurent in 1999, when the young designer burst on the scene with a virile vision of men’s style that was hardcore but also tender, like the rock ’n’ rollers he documented in graffiti-covered clubs. The account—widely assumed to be run by Slimane or someone close to him—has also published archival images from Slimane’s ........

The first post from that homme fan IG account includes a pretty big factual error. His last YSL rive gauche collection was for fall winter 2000, not 1999. February 1999 he would have presented his first for the house as he did only 3 seasons then.

The real Hedi (nor anyone close to him) would never be so confused.

There's no way Hedi would head to Helmut Lang, his ego is not skinny as his works. That label has become a mess atp, definitely no longer in the same league as brands like Dries or Rick Owens.

I’m curious, if he want to operate his own brand, what would it be like? Unlike Philo, there are not many designers/brands that ripping off his works as for now, so I think it would definitely turn heads if he came back with his namesake label.

If Fast Retail (the parent company behind Helmut Lang and Uniqlo) did not succeed in sustaining their partnership with Jil Sander due to supposed too high demands on quality, then how would there ever be foundation to negotiate with Slimane on anything?

As much as I would love to see a Hedi Slimane collab with Uniqlo along the lines of +J by Jil Sander, it‘s as unlikely to happen from either side - Mr. Yanai not wanting to provide the concessions (both artistically and regarding the payroll) a designer like Hedi Slimane would call for, but also Hedi never stating to be interested in working on a different tier than high-end luxury for historic maisons.
