I miss him so much. He was such a visionary.
BTW, I remember someone posted many Helmut Lang collections from the nineties in tFS but I can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know where they are?
" I don't like clothes that scream loudly. they mustn't be safe, and they mustn't be obvious - neither too designery nor too classical. my clothes aren't one thing or the other. it's all about finding a way through those contradictions. " - helmut lang
from harper's bazaar, sep 1995, thanks to softgrey
^^^ ^^^ This is why I still adore his designs to this very day: I was attracted to this vision from the moment I discovered Helmut in 1994, and no one has even come close to the vision he has created.
some more from FW1993

^ you're welcome
from SS 1994
I miss the naturalness, creativity and respect that helmut Lang had. It hasn't been replaced since he left. Huge void.
Anyone has videos of his shows that are not on Youtube ? Really want to see them...

Those are also my favorite ones, Melanie Ward did such incredible womenswear for Helmut...In moments like this I wish Tim Blanks was still doing his Throwback Thursdays at Vogue.com, CN just has the most incredible archive.
