and i think that this is around the time that i started to pay closer attention...
along with the rest of the fashion community...
because he really just suddenly exploded in a certain circle of very cool fashion types...who had/have a certain 'rock start' style or swagger...

i have a navy sort of tuxedo jkt of his that i have got to figure out how to wear...
and i also have an ivory blazer i have never worn...
this is very inspiring....
maybe now i will find a solution for these treasures...

I think they were shrewd in control of unexpectedness.
the clothes were basically classic, but sometimes there was something out of place there, which worked wonders for the ventilation of their work called minimalism or purism .
it can easily have quite the opposite effect of what was intended
but they never seemed to fail.

wow, wonderful photos! i miss this designer...epitomizes what was so great in the early and mid-90s...i still have a few tank tops and shirts of his in my closet; they've stood the test of time.
