A truly beautiful, amazing, outstanding collection. Knowing it's his last one at the house of Hermes, Jean Paul Gaultier obviously didn't count the money spent on this magnificent show. From the horses, to the runway, theme and clothes.. it is all fantastically done. Pure heaven for those who can appreciate the word fashion.
I really love the Birkin and Kelly bags he did for the last time. It is really sad that we won't be buying his bags anymore. I am dying to see what Christophe does - although my expectations aren't very high. I don't think it's smart to move from avantgarde designers (Maison Margiela, Jean Paul Gaultier) to something extremely minimalistic and sportish. Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see how all that turns out.
I hope the Hermes brand doesn't go down after JPG. It's breaking my heart to see him go. I will definitely miss his presence at the house
