There are a couple nice dresses here but it's so repetitive. Those finale gowns are just what possessed them to put those awful gowns in the collection??!!

Im a fan of the bandage dress, but seriously? This is a disaster.. Some are nice but for the most part, I am really disappointed.

at least, max azria has tried to push this brand forward, but it's just questionable whether this stuff really captures any of the excitement that the original herve leger conjured. even though i see something different here, it still just blurs together.

Interesting collection. Tons of style-lines everywhere. For me its, minimal meets futuristic.

I've been following HL for just 2 seasons and I thought from SS09 which I found very innovative my first show things might be prominsing to go on well I didn't think just after such a short time I would be already annoyed... I think I'll rest in peace with SS09 collection and quite done with HL... the lack of color, the repetitiveness, the failed for most bandages... and these gowns... though some here and there dresses are interesting.

I think Herve Leger is kind of in between a rock and a hard place.

If they stick to what they're good at (bodycon, bandage etc), it lacks imagination and every collection is repetitive - no end of colours, cuts or cutouts can get away from that.

If they try different ideas, at best it takes away from what Herve are good at, at worst it looks plain ugly.

I really like Herve Leger. I think there's a lot of snobbery towards the brand which I think is a bit unfair. I have a few of their dresses and they're extremely flattering and get a lot of wear through being easy to accessorise.

But I do wonder how much mileage the brand has to have a stand-alone collection/show in New York.

this is really nice. materials are great, outlines and structures too... but here again i miss colors a lil...
