Where are some good places to shop besides the Glameria? I have lived here about 2months just want to know of some boutiques? (or any new stores coming to the Galleria)

Besides the huge Galleria..well it depends really on what type of stuff you like.

There is the Rice Village which has Urban Outfitters,a lot of boutiques,an express, gap, victoria secerts etc.

Then there is Westheimer/Montrose area. If you go inbetween Dunlavy and Montrose on Westhiemer there are a bunch of vintage/resale shops such as Taxi Taxi, Leopard Lounge, and Buffalo Exchange. And on Dunlavy right by Brasil's (an awesome rest/coffee shop)there are a couple of boutiques one of them is called Eden.

Then there is Memorial City mall near Memorial. The only thing I go there for is Forever21 they also have a bunch of other stores but the place is constantly packed with stay at home moms.

Other than that I do most of my shopping online. If I think of any other places I'll let you know. Good luck. :lucky:

Welcome to Houston! You can also try highland village, they've got a bunch of stores there too. its near the galleria area, but assuming that you're driving towards downtown you're gonna keep driving past the galleria, under 6-10 and you'll be there in no time you can't miss it.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about the Highland Village. They have an Anthropologie there!

Also another really good vintage store is Retropolis it's in the Heights. It's awesome.

Edit: I just realized you were a guy so you probably don't care about half of the stuff I said. haha, sorry.

There is a great boutique that carries Balenciaga bags and lots of clothes like Chloe and Alexander Mcqueen. Its called Mix. Its on Kirby.....and Westheimer...you should take a look at it!

Sloan Hall is really fun too...its right around that area.

If you want higher end stuff both of those stores are great....

Thanks guys for those tips!
I have been looking for some stores since I'm getting tired of just going to Galleria and Memorial mall.
Any other stores for men?

Rice Village.Jeans Couture and Urban Outfitters there is also a Jeans Couture across the street from the Galleria next to Barnes & Noble. Lab 5 in midtown. The Fountains on I-59South in Stafford. They have a great Off 5th for menswear

Katy Mills Mall also has a Off 5th and a Neiman Marcus. But they have a horrible selection for men. All they have in men's shoes are a bunch of Coach Loafers. YUCK.

don't forget Lot 8 which Chloe who won project runway owns! I have never been....but I would like to

Is there anywhere is Houston which stocks Marni?

I would call Mix boutique...I don't think they do...but maybe. Neimans or Saks might....otherwise I am not sure.

I know in dallas...Neimans carries it as well as 4510.

not sure. never been. look it up on google and call them. I think west village maybe?

Lot 8 is around Rice Village. If you are coming from 59, her store is to your left, on Kirby. You can't miss it.

i gave up shopping in houston.
now i just stick to online or whenever i travel, i buy what I need.
for men, at least, houston is WAAYYYYY behind the times.

for homme, you may want to check out M2M.
they have some decent stuff from time to time.
it's on Montrose, close to Westheimer

what type of clothes do you wear? more tailored mens suits, etc or more edgy stuff

^
dont have a defined style. quite versatile,
anything from skinny jeans, rock inspire tee, and converse
to a Dior Homme Suit. <- they are my favorite^_^
