How do you reward yourself?

Or go see a movie out and have dinner and or wine at a restaurant you like you have wanted to try. I usually don't go to movies in the theaters since it costs so much but that would be a nice treat. You can invite someone to join you if you want but personally, I like to go alone and just make it time for myself.

Buy some clothes, or aftershave.

My rewards usually do not cost a lot of money... I am frugal, and like to save, so that doesn't make much sense to ME (neither does liking fashion, on that note!, if I don't like to spend money.)

BUT... a nice dinner out is good. A lunch out with friends... taking the time to explore some place new when perhaps you wouldn't otherwise allow yourself the time.

I had considered the restaurant idea, but I thought it would be for the best to have an non-caloric reward as spring and fewer layers are right around the corner :P  I do love great food :crush: I might not have been able to resist this idea, except my favorite restaurant has sadly closed ...

I ended up going for the pedicure, and Erin, it was a reward you would love too because I used my Aveda PurePrivilege points and so it was free (except for the tip) :woot: I'm a big fan of loyalty programs, and I think this one & back2MAC are the best. Anyway, I loved it & my feet look great.

You know, I have never had a pedicure, and people tell me it is a MUST. May be that would be a great reward, especially if you usually don't do that.

I agree with that ... especially now, when you're getting ready to bare your feet after winter :P I believe in doing touchups, but why not let someone else remove those layers of polish, exfoliate, and deal with everything else?

Why not? Especially the dealing with everything else part. There are at least 10 pedicure places very near me. :P

For me..
- An expensive meal or dessert
- A lovely trinket: a small keep-sake, if you will
- A foreign aka ultra $$$ magazine
- Pedicure/Manicure (I actually prefer to do it myself, but they are a relief @ times)
- Art Supplies
- New pr. of eyeglasses
- SLEEP! :buzz:

I am thinking about getting my first facial...
I am absolutely petrified to be honest...
as my skin is not very problematic to begin with
so all the ominous 'what ifs' are at work, naturally..
Just want something that will nourish and enrich it
for a healthy glow... :ermm:
