How Much Perfume Do You Apply?

I usually just apply one spray from the atomizer per day...I'm wary of over-doing it and don't want to reek...back in the 80's, when CD Poison was popular, we used to joke that instead of smoking and non-smoking sections, restaurants should have Poison and non-Poison sections

Anyway, with such light application, my perfumes last for years! But, I'm wondering, what is the average amount most people apply? How often do you reapply?

Normally i apply perfume 10-15 minutes before i leave home, so the first strong smell goes away and it doesn't disturb anybody on the bus. ^^ I apply it to behind my ears on my hair (1-1 to left and right side) so it takes a lil longer. Naturally if i go out at night i reapply. Oh.. and i use Dkny Be delicious, it may be an important info.

I rarely wear perfume because I'm paranoid of overdoing it too But when I do, I spritz a couple of times in front of me and then walk through it. And since I only wear it in the evenings, I don't reapply

Haha, funny you should mention that about restaurants ... I still wear Poison, and the other night a friend & I went to a small restaurant in my neighborhood that does a lot of takeout business & only has a few booths. There were only a couple empty, and I realized right after I sat down that unfortunately the guy behind us was extremely negative & was criticizing his companion. Luckily they left fairly quickly, the guy making a comment as he passed about how he "couldn't stand that perfume!" I was so pleased ... B) My mother used to hate it too, but that was pre-menopause

But in answer to your question, I generally do one squirt under each ear in the morning (just one ear for a strong Oriental fragrance I have), and possibly reapply in the evening if I'm going out and happen to be home beforehand. My perfume lasts for years too. I have only three and don't remember the last time I bought any

And sometimes, I apply a small spray on my wrists!

People always tell me I smell nice, so I guess that means I have too much on...

Oh well... I don't mind. I have great taste and my perfume's smell lovely. I don't really care if someone can smell me or not. I have never had any complaints.

I spray it in my hair, one time if it's Mania (the black one) and two or three times if it's Be Delicious.

Also, I put vaseline on my wrists before I put perfume on them. Makes the scent last longer.

I put it on my neck and wrists. Sometimes in my hair, too. I put one spray on each wrist, one on each side of my neck. No one has ever complained that I smell too strongly of perfume.

im feeling kind of weird now... you guys wear so little perfume!!!! or i wear a lot..
i spray about 7 times all around me, two on the neck, one on each side of my hair.. one on top.. and one just under my neck.. or something like that..
but i spray it from pretty far away... like 7 inches away... i dont know.. i guess i put on too much.. but i hate it when the smell fades away.. and i love when people recognize my perfume or say i smell nice!!

wow ive never heard that before!! ..must try..

i was at the bay, and the lady that was help me out with purfume said that if you want other people to smell your purfume then spray it on your shoulders. because its the closest place to anothers nose when walking past them or something. cause if its on your neck, your the one thats getting the big whiff. and also not to spray it on your clothes cause sometimes depending on the purfume, it could stain. so to spray it on your body after you shower.

at first i thought it was cocknbull but then i guess it kinda makes sense right?

i usually spray 3 times (1 in chest-neck area, once on each side of my body). i also use be delicious by dkny, and nobody's really seemed to have a problem with overexposure.
