How to have natural rosy lips

The skin of the lip, with three to five cellular layers, is very thin compared to typical face skin, having up to 16 layers. With light skin color, the lip skin contains no melanocyte (pigment cells, which give skin its color). Because of this, the blood vessels appear through the skin of the lips, which leads to their notable red coloring. With darker skin color this effect is less prominent, as in this case the skin of the lips contains more melanin and thus is visually thicker.

the problem is i hate to use lipbalm but i don't think even lipbalm with spf will not remove the melanin on my lip because i live in southeast asia where the sun is as hot as california sun

what i do is i just bite them all the time, and they turn nice and red. it's probably not REALLY good for them, so you might want to also do the toothbrush thing which would exfoliate them a little bit at least. i would think maybe too much saliva would agigtate them and make them overly dry. but i do it anyway. i havent worn lipgloss or chapstick in ages and my lips are naturally pale pinkish purple. im not finding that i'm having any moisture issues, so i just bite away

If you bite them all the time, you get saliva on them, which dries out the lips and makes them chapped. Seriously LIPSTAIN. It doesn't cost a lot, it lasts for ages, it looks natural, I don't understand the problem. +_+

Oh by the way, beetroot is a very rosy colour. Try eating some, or smear the juice over your lips. That's "natural" too.

^^ haha. "natural"... There's a good type of lipgloss- Lip Fusion. It's suppose to be injected with collagen. Even when you take the gloss off, its makes your lips fuller, smoother and more plumped. I personally use it myself. It tastes good too!

I found the site: http://www.fusionbeauty.com

what i mean by rosy lip
how? without lip stick, injection and just acheieve by easy skin care and some diet maybe?

The colour of lips depends also of the colour of your skin and ur complexion,if u have dark or weathish skin,I think it would be hard if not impossible to have rosy or light lips, using "only" the natural ways, the natural ways would help only to be back to ur natural colour, but not to create a new colour which u never had, unless u think of using "less natural" ways, like injections, laser or other cosmetics ways.

Ps:The pics u posted of the rosy lips u wish to have is from pale people, which obviously have that natural lips because they have pale complexion.

My skin is not pale pale but fairly pale....and so my lips kind of do look very red....it's worse because my bottom lip is rather jutty outty so it just looks like I put lipstick only on the bottom lip. It's kinda freaky looking...wouldn't mind if they were a normal pink colour.

i actually like my natural lip colour.
it's very pale pink & muted.
only realised recently that everyone has a very different natural lip colour!
for rosy lips . . bite them. brush them.!

lemon juice drops, baby toothbrush...massage and then a smidge of balm= baby lips

where can i buy lemon juice drop?????

I meant a few drops of lemon juice. Be careful if your lips are too chapped, because it can sting.

have you tried that method before? how is the result?
