How to have natural rosy lips

- exfoliate your lips with a soft childrens toothbrush
- apply a cheek tint like quo
- lip balm

I am going to have to agree with the Burt's Bees thing here. Its made of all natural products so that works, I mean it fits with your natural theory. Its a lip balm so it doesn't matter that you are a guy, guys need lip care as well.

Plus, you'll love the feeling on your lips!

lick your lips. i do it all the time.

also. mine always turn really red after i drink milk.

I use a tiny bit of NARS lipstick..
It's highly pigmented and lasts a really long time.
I always wear lip balm over it. ..and it still lasts.

The toothpaste thing was a bad idea. People have recommended a similar thing to me before, but for spots and it dried them out so I had these ugly crusts on my face. So, I am not surprised it made people's lips severely chapped and sore.

My lips are naturally pink and my normal routine is to rub off the dried skin with my finger in the middle of a warm shower. I tried using a soft toothbrush a few times, but even that was too harsh and made my lips bleed! After the shower I put on Burt's Bees lip balm (but I am looking for one that moisturises more and for longer). My lips will stay rosy for a while, but it won't last all day.

The only other thing I can think of (since you want to go natural) is finding a natural irritant or an irritant that is not in a 'girly package' that does not dry out your skin. My dad used to use a product called 'Tiger Balm' on aching muscles. This was a very strong product that gave the skin a burning sensation. Perhaps it would help? The burning would irritate your lips and probably make them go red. It would hurt a bit, but if you want them that badly I guess it would be worth it.

Scrub your lips with toothbrush and then put on some lip balm.:flower:

yeah sometimes i accidentally leave some toothpaste on my fingertip cause it drips off my toothbrush (tmi) and it turns all white afterwards, and such a b*tch to get rid of it!!

i can't imagine that on the lips.

actually, i can.

where is Burt's Bees sold? i subconsciously look out for it whenever i'm at the drug store, but i never see it.

^I see it in numerous random places. Bookstores (like Borders), Target, Hallmark stores, and mall stands always have it.

It usually has its own little stand in drug stores (at least where I am). Try looking at the corners of aisles for a cardboard stand with a yellow honeycomb pattern on it.

I know where you can buy it in Canada, but the stores I know aren't in the US. If you still can't find it, you can also buy it online: www.forever-natural.com

this may work plush blush.sorry i haven't used it.

i have a habit of biting my lips and i also wear this all natural ginseng lip balm for several years now...i guess these may the factor that give me plump pinkish lips
it may also have to do something with food we eat
i notice some people's lips turn really rosy when they blush

It's a question of blood supply .. so you have to get blood into your head .. um, always carry a game of chess with you and play instead of applying lipstick? But no seriously. I find rosy lips come with general health because if your cardiovascular system is strong the aforementioned blood supply will be good. I always get really rosy lips and cheeks in the morning after I eat my porridge with lots of spices and nuts and carbs .. my system loves all the energy! When I get home exhausted, I'm all wan and sallow. So the asnwer is health. If you're not interested in that try L'Occitane tinted shea butter lip stain.
