i LOVE polka dots...

i think it stems from the 80's comme des garcons ads and such...

not sure if this is going to help, but polka dots often reminds me of japanese designers,
tsumori chisato, mint designs, frapois, comme des garcons and such.

i think any look book of them especially the spring summer ones, should be of help to you, of how to wear it.

how about pairing big polka dots top with small polka dots bottoms?
in black and white or colours, think both would make an impact equally.
polka dots also goes well with layering imo.

*and i also realized that not only are they popular with the japanese...
but also with the FRENCH...
YSL in particular always did black and white polka dots...

There is a pr. of amazing wht. wedges w/ blk. trim on hmr.jp that are perfect!
It is so incredibly hard to find good wht. shoes,
so the cold fact that they are unavailable is so upsetting...

man i wish this thread was how NOT to wear polka dots. that would be more interesting!

i think polka dots looks good on every female body type. i don't think it looks good on men, unless you're going for the androgynous look. i also say stay with basic colors, the pattern of polka dots is enough. anyway, i love the dresses posted above.
