I'm surprised to see no thread about this great photographer, one of the better for fashion photo between 1926 and 1945.
So this is some images from the book of william Ewing : Hoyningen-huene, published in 1986, scanned by myself of course.

Fredo, Fredo !, you're treating us to well !. He is indeed one of the more interesting for photographing fashion from that period along with Munkacsi, in my eyes. Thank you for making this thread, I'll try also to dig up some work! ...

Very nice shots and lighting ^_^ Thanks fredo
I like the one of the guy with the white helmet the most... at least I think it is a guy :P I usually see women in older photos. Plus, his clothes and the car, everything in the picture is interesting

fredo ... thanks for scanning all the gorgeous images!! It's a lot of work for you and I certainly enjoy seeing his work. :woot:

Are all of the images that you posted from the same source ... the book?

We require that images in each post are credited with the source (the site, the book or the magazine). I noticed that you did give a credit in your first post ...."the book of William Ewing : Hoyningen-huene, published in 1986" which is exactly what you need to do. If they are from the same source, it would help a lot if, in your future posts, you could say "from the same source" or something like that. That way I don't have to ask to make sure. Thank you for your help! :flower:

Hello Bette, I'm happy you like this images, of course, all the post are from the same source (a very interesting book to understand work and life of Huene).
if you are familiar with newsgroup go to alt.binaries.artpics, I post all my scans here (10 500 scans posted from the moment).
fred

Hey, I see your site, good work!!! I will scan soon a book about Schiaparelli, I think you will love it.
