My favorites are Matthew Ames,Yuki Takahashi,Richard Rene and Francois Alary & Ophelie Klere. Eric Jandor is pretty good too but the style reminds me too much of Dior Homme and Delcour. All in all, some interesting talents this year.

:woot: thank you so much for this topic, its great to have a look at this year's Hyeres designers, regardless that a close friend was left behind in the nominations :(

in general i'm not thrilled with this year's creative standards, still..

and Ato as well.

I like Anna Aichinger's work.
besides those ten designers, I have much interest in the exhibition by Henrik Vibskov.

so who got the price ?
2004 grand prix

Richard Rene
Sarah Swash & Toshio Yamanaka

Do you think they made the correct decision? Richard maybe, but Sarah & Toshio I didn't find quite as strong as perhaps any of the others were....

This time they might attach greater importance to ready fighting power, presentation and communication skills, or something like that.
reflecting the increasing demand that this world is not just about fashion.
To be honest, I was just reminded of Kikaider (now famous hero in Hawaii) looking at the asymmetric color pants.

by the way, who do you know won the grand prix when Margiela served on the selection committee?
