"I GOT IN!" ... Announce acceptance of your Fashion School Appications here.

i got into the fashion merchandising programs at virginia commonwealth university, drexel university, and delaware university (the only 3 schools i applied to) so im really happy.

Those are...AMAZING schools. I can't believe you applied to all of those and got in!!! Congratttts!
i wish. those are just all the ones i applied to...i still havent heard back from 90% of my schools. i would be so happy if i got into all of them tho :D

i applied for csm bristol and birmingham at the start of march but i still havnt heard replys yet...has everyone had theirs yet??:yuk::shock::blink: i hope i get them soon lol...

I'm going back to school. I already have a BA in History but I figured that I wanted to really work in fashion so I'm going back to school for another Bachelors because I could not find a masters program that suited me. I applied to The Art Institute- California Design College for Fashion Marketing but I was originally thinking of interior design.

I got CAPPED at UT, so, if I agree to the program and fufill their requirements, I'll get into UT for my sophomore year with no objections (except for the school of architecture, which I will have to transfer or do a change of major into).

30 hours with a 3.2 GPA by the end of Freshman year. Lovely.

Did you guys take the SAT or the ACT? And if you don't mind me asking what was your score and what colleges did you get into?

i took the SAT cuz its more well known than the ACT and so I figured it would be easier for colleges to compare my scores with other incoming students. i got a 2110 (700 math, 720 verbal, 690 writing). i only applied to three schools (university of delaware, virginia commonwealth university, and drexel university) but i got into all three so its ok. however, my decision to apply to these wasnt based on whether their ranking matched my SAT scores cuz the three schools are on different levels, i applied for their fashion merchandising programs (ex, Virginia Commonwealth is not a very challenging school overall but they have the #1 public school of the arts and a great fashion merchandising program so it doesnt matter about the rest). i hope this was helpful for your question

^ You're scores are SICK for a VCU applicant. It's the only in state school I want to go to (I am a Virginian), but yeah, it's not the most selective school in the country.

My friend's sister goes to VCU and she got a 900 OVERALL on the SATs, no joke.

I got accepted to Walsh University in my state, plus I'll get free tuition aside from books since my mom works there.I'll probably be majoring in communication which includes journalism and art and things.I figure that would help me out the best when the time comes to send resumes out for fashion careers.

I do plan on transfering though after a while, hopefully to a school in NYC(I can only dream for now) or chicago.

I did both SAT and ACT and did way better on the ACT. I got a 1230 on the SATs (back when they were out of 1600) and a 30 or 31 on the ACT. It used to be that a lot of schools accepted the ACT's in lieu of the SAT's and SAT II's but no idea if that still holds true.
