Ladies’ Room Encounter with That Girl

She’s the girl who isn’t friendly with the other girls when they go out with the guys. In a large group, she rarely speaks to females. Instead, she focuses all of her attention on the men – attempts to impress them by spewing out facts she’s read in the newspaper, verbatim, without much analysis, as they try to look at her breasts. During her last relationship, whenever she was in a multi-couple situation, she’d make no attempt to engage the other women. Rather, she’d spend most of her time flirting with the boyfriends and husbands, careful not to cross the line, but not exactly hiding the fact that her preferred company is male.

But she’s not only not a girls’ girl, she’s also That Girl. The kind of girl who only knows how to put other girls down. She was in the ladies’ room recently at a private event, a private no-fans non-civilian event, standing next to an industry type at the counter. The other woman complimented her on her appearance, something to effect of: that’s a great dress, it looks amazing on you …

And walked away.

Friends? Please. Her “friends” are either relatives or assistants. Because otherwise, really, why would you ever want to be?

I'm gonna say Blake Lively or Scarlett Johansson - since they both have "the boobs" and only seem to hang around their family members.

Whatever, that BI is lame. "Young, beautiful actress thinks she's better than other women. Story at 11." I never would have thought such a thing was possible. Never!

(Or maybe I'm cranky because I didn't sleep last night. But I'd rather blame Lainey.)

I agree it could be Scarlett Johansson. Lainey also talked about her not having any female friends, not hanging out with girls, etc. in a recent post.

Other than that it could be so many celebs... Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Cameron Diaz maybe? Rosie Hungtington-Whitely gives me a bitchy vibe too, but I don't know if she's 'famous' enough in Hollywood?

I can totally "see/hear" Scarlett saying & doing that -- Blake doesn't seem established enough yet to throw caution to the wind like that.

Alternatively, it could be someone whose in a lot of 'female friendly' romcoms, as both those two women are. Cameron Diaz fits that brief, but even if Lainey has been hating on her a bit lately, I don't really envision Cameron like that....

Isn't Cameron Diaz good friends with Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore? I have not seen them out in public together in a while, but they were very tight during and after the whole Charlie's Angels thing.

Amy Adams has been in several romcoms and it would be highly shocking (at least to me) if this blind applied to her.

you're right. i've overlooked that part.

about Cameron - if anything she always at times had girlfriends by her side - latest one being Gwyneth and the whole thing at the Oscar afterparty. she's not a known Boy girl.

Kate Winslet? i always notice a girlfriend by her side at those outings paps catch her on.

i don't have a clue about this one apart from Olivia W. but she doesn't have the boobs
