^That's April 2004. I've never seen it anywhere in HQ. Just smaller size scans.

BEST EDIT #1
"Painted ladies" Paolo Roversi shoots Cover Star Gemma Ward & Guinevere. in sumptuoous elegant finery, very Pre-Raphaelite innocence and soft-focus mystery.
Gemma has made a striking impression on 2004 fashion with her Classical powdered freshness. Not thrilled to see Guinevere again but Roversi's soft-focus studio pics make this an outstanding edit incl superb looks editerd by awesoem alex white, and national Portrait Gallery-quality hair makeup by Souleiman & peroni. Roversi possibly the most distinctive fashion photog working in 21st century and 1 look at the pefect tone and composition to these timeless portraits shows why. He really elevates the fashion edit to art level and kudos to W for giving him the opportunity and the mag believing in aesthetic values over gimmicky fast fashion. MAJOR.
TIED FOR BEST EDIT #1: "Springbreak" Clean cut all-American resort-spring looks shot by Bruce 'All-Star' Weber in Palm Beach. Key contrast here is Weber shooting outstanding african-American models [jaunel, Jess White, gerren, Payton, Nastassia, Victoria] in homogenous caucasoid Palm Beach, wearing 100% USA Prep classics. Weber patented this type of shoot, outdoorsy, sun-drenched, leisurely, luxurious. the clothes in this edit are even better than the Roversi edit above, it looks exactly like a long Polo ad from ralph's 80s heyday. Weber prob America's best fash photog and W smartly gives him 25 pages and he turns in exceptioanl resport PB pics. Alex Whites styling here is even better than in the roversi shoot above. this outdoorsy all american crisp spring edit is a brill contrast to roversi's classical, antiqued, still, aristocratic shots above. Outstanding model casting too, the preppy clothes on gorgeous Nubians makes for a vital and poetic 2004 Unity statement. One of best edits of 2004.
3rd Best edit: Interiors Christija makowski, dasha & Aline Weber shot by mario Sorrenti. Pretty spring looks and interesting still interior shots by Sorrenti, love the models and furnishings but Sorrenti nowhere near the artist that Roversi & weber are. Really a true fine art photog like Tina barney--or Sam taylor wood!!!!-- would jhave done much better given this silent, Bergmanesque mute filmic conceit. Still, this edit destroys anything in the April Vogue [a freak show of Penn's horror chubbies and meisel's purposefully retardaire blankness]....its a quality 3rd edit but miles below Roversi's and Weber's Euro & American classicism.
I did a search for W mag in the thread and didn't find this.

I'm looking for the editorial with two old ladies, mostly dressed in pink and rose. Here's the small pic:
^Oh. But do you know where I can see some of the editorials of those issues? Thanks!
