I used to know of a great site that sold most of the best international fashion magazines on one site...
As i no longer live in London, getting hold of such mags is impossible due to the closure of Borders (RIP).
I dont suppose anyone knows what the website is or of a similar one that delivers to UK?

REVIEW of MARCH 2004 "W": Naomi Watts, Nick Knight, Missy, ......


BEST Edit: "La divina" amber shot by mert/marcus in lingerie-style, fishnets/panties looks in Ibiza. give amber credit her body looks outrageously, impossibly hot here, hot like 1995...major props to M&M they really brought it out of her & shot with dramatic lighting and seductive bedroom poses....hottest amber looks in years [the paris hotel thingy in vogue (?) 2 yrs back wasnt half this hot] every pic is great...amber's kittenish sultry poses are rawly sexual...love it!! Bonuses to M&M, Joe McKenna's styling, luigi's hair & charlotte's makeup....amazing.

2nd BEST EDIT: "water" (?) nick knight shoots lily, luca, polina & gemma in mysterious shadow lit pretty delicate spring looks,. excellent layout, really arty from disguised long shots to dreamy closeups. jonathan kaye excelent styling w/ knight's conception and expert vision. great work from all espec luca & gemma. beautiful.

3rd best edit: Missy rayder shot by sims in sleek black/white evening looks, tux's etc. Missy's comeback to top 20 models worldwide this year is amazing. she looks fantastic here, fresh & buff yet womanly. love the clothes. karl templer does superb styling here, incl: ralph pinstripe suit; armani b&w bowtie top; Best: Ford/Ysl black tux; and gucci white jacket. nice studio lighting, missy is rocking but--sims work here just not as superior as knight & M&M above.. is sims shooting too documentary style lately?? didnt like him in bazaar much w/erin..still strong studio edit.

4th best EDIT: Boy Named Sue" Craig McDean shoots Stam in western wear...good edit but lacks mystery and magical allure of mcdean's vegas marija edit. stam can be hotter, too cutesy here. expect more from mcdean than cowboy props and also want stam flesh and curves t i a

Worthwhile social notes as always from W, from Mrs Whitney 1970 to Ivanka 2004 to the Cawdors in Scotland to Tory, EKC, Sam Boardman, Jenn Creel etc. and some scintillating ads as noted above with the grand canyon via gissy, natiV, louise & more. Cant wait to eat up the april W w/ gemma by roversi, bruce weber's PB resort looks too. W is the class of US fash mags & US mags in general. Beijitos. xx

super duper BEST antastic great edits X 3 (!!! thats right THREE full edits with coverstar julianne morre:
a) julianne w/ sorrenti romantic studio shoot-excellent and pretty work from this inconsistent but inspired fotog.

b) julianne cinematographic edit by michael gondry [eternal sunshine director] even better its pretty to look at & cool to read. excellent!!

c) julianne by michael thompson. a studio beautiful edit at least as good as sorrentis, maybe even more classic. opens with superhot nude of julianne, shes prob the prettiest actress alive at least when mischa barton is strung out on coke. [i also like siena miller & kate bosworth & keira knightly but theyre not as classical;ly breathtaking as juliannne can be espec in these truly worldclass photos].
taken together these 3 edts are the best in this W and among best fasghion edits Ive seen in 2004.

excellent edit #1: nativodi shot by mert & marcus. excellent modern/future edit by mert & marcus. nativodi does well but has her slightly alien face on. still attractive & smwhat sexy but for example, the new CK ads with her are sexier, legs a kimbo etc. still strong lead edit.

excellent edit #2: guinevere shot by mcdean. W pushing guins comeback hard- this is even betetr than the lingerie shoot last month: mcdean def on his game with this retro and equally cinematic edit. aces!

excellent edit #3: portia at select shot by dusan reljin. killer back of book edit. portia is a really hot find, a blonde waif-like-heroin-chic sexy bird ij the gemma goes bad category. great clothes too and this reljin is turning in great pics every time. hes a really interesting fotog--cool noir like mystery in these picsm, some waht hitchcock-femme fatale- and this portia is a real find, ethereal, sexy, drugged, slim and oh so blondely sexy. yummz

good, cool, novel edit: - nick knight shoots a party incl gemma. somewhat loose reportage-like 'party' set piece- nice change up from knight, maybe not his best work ive seen but still an interesting approach from W. incl 2 women eating 'sherbet pixie sticks' which is obvs supposed to look like snorting coke. I love that W takes these avant risks. anna wintour needs coke in her vogue diet espec blown up her bum by liebowitz' key grip. i thank you. gemma is great in this edit - and its a lot more interesting than us vogues tired 'party' story last spring- but its also a bit too haphazard to rank with the unbelieveable julianne edits above.
