Check out Carlos' pink gloves! And Paul seriously has the best taste in sunglasses B)

^lovely!

i'm just listening to heinrich manouver for the first time. i love it but it seems very literal for an interpol song..

Why the f*ck my fu*cking subscription to this f*cking thread was f*cking deleted??????????????:angry::furious::furious::censored:

I like that Carlos has that weird mustache so I can decipher old pictures from the new ones.

yep..i've been trying to open it for 5 days now, and it still doesnt work..
can someone put the pic of carlos from the bio part on that site?
i hear it's interesting.

:lol:Is that Carlos D's infamous dog in the pictures?

Ha... That picture with the dog makes me feel really awkward... because he looks rather like a socially awkward recluse.

I think I hate the new album.
I've played it around 4 times.. and one more play will only lead to unfortunate events.. I can confirm now that.. it makes me very very violent  . it the kind of music that makes you feel claustrophobic.. so ironic because TOTBL is perfect for opposite reactions.. it sounds so liberating. but our love to admire is like getting choked..it puts me in a bad mood! sorry about the rant!.. everything I want is to throw iced water on Paul's face or just make him swallow whatever he's got stuck in his throat so he can sing fresh again. :censored:. though the guitars are just as obnoxious as his voice.

*I do love pioneer to the falls, though. it's inevitable. :p

^ Really? :(

I LOVE the new album! :woot: So far, I've heard about 6 or so songs off the album and I love it  It's a billion times better than Antics and up to par with TOTBL. It's funny you should say that about Pauls voice, cause I actually think it sounds better than ever! There was a time in the Antic era where I felt he was too much of a crooner. I'm glad so far its getting good reviews though. It's definetely a step up from Antics, IMO. ^_^:D

I'm a tad bias though, I've heard their new material live and its

I'm quite new to Interpol, but I really disagree on most points. I really love this album, and his voice. I wouldn't say it's violent, more passive aggressive. I agree a bit with the 'claustrophobic' feeling, but I have that with the first album too. With 'post-punk' in general, really. To me Interpol sounds like a scream, without screaming, like you're trapped, in a way. I'm not sure if I explain this right but, it sounds like it has the ambition to sound really big, but still something restraints it, it's desperate in a way, but still really liberating, like you say. And I love that.

Pioneer to the Falls is a wonderful opener, Rest my Chemistry is also gorgeous, as is No I in Threesome, I love this album.
