Looks like they are moving away from the simple minimalist covers. I was watching a documentary on youtube I hadn't seen before and didn't know Dan spoke fluent French. He said he lived in France for 5 years and spoke better French than English when he was 11, and he lived in Spain for a time.

^Yeah, they've really moved away from that retro black/white simplist look. I actually liked that though, I thought it fit them really well. Even on their website it shows a big picture of a mountain, now there's a cheetah involved! They've gone all naturey, hmm.

Yes and he was also born in England as well as Paul Banks who's b-day is tomorrow Paul also lived in Spain and Mexico, he knows spanish really well, they met in France (Daniel and Paul) while Paul was living there.

.. isn't carlos half-colombian half-german.. and didn't paul live in mexico and speaks spanish too?, was it paul or dan?.. tut tut..

..the cover looks really bad.. but so is the single so i guess it's fair.
i really wish they'd go back to the whole 'elegant' sound that made me fall in love with TOTBL..

agree with you, mullet, in regards to h.m. and new visuals. a dark elegance, which is generally the epitome of everything i love, musically and visually. i miss that a great deal, as well. the austerity. though i am very pleased with pttf and barring more hm-type tracks, look forward to the album.
