There is nothing wrong with selling more albums and getting more exposure. I'm pretty sure they will have 100% creative control.

WTF??? There goes the rights of that band! God, I hope they won't
turn into another U2 and Coldplay...... I know Interpol doesn't
sound remotely close to U2 and Coldplay, but now that they are
contracted with CAPITOL......who knows? These BIG CEO's
have expectations, and most of the time it's their way and not
the artist's way. I can only hope that Interpol
stays true to their music and to themselves as people.

it's obviously photoshopped by someone who thinks of interpol as something of so much cult.
I believe that's Paris Hilton promoting her new album, that's what she was wearing that day and the infamous sponsor in the back gives it all away. why would they let her promote music they dont even play...

anyway, not that it's all that atrocious, it was two years ago when the Olsen twins picked Modest Mouse as hot band of the month or whatever.
