Catty charges a full $25 more to use Aliexpress vs WU. I really can't go another $25.... I feel stuck because I have never paid WU and there's absolutely no protection. What would you guys do? Agh I'm upset right now...thanks....

i know it does feel a bit scary using western union. but seriously check to see if your local grocery store offers the service. they will do all the work. as long as the $ is getting to the right catty, then i think you should be fine.

Thanks guys! I did go to the grocery store but I found an online code that gave me 50% off the sending fee and I was allowed to use my debit card. So if something untoward happens I think my bank would have my back. But Catty guided me through it and she picked up the funds so now I'm just looking for the tracking number. I'll post a pic of the bag when it arrives. Sorry I spazzed out....lol.

Citron, have you got a reply for NBF whether they've made your bag or posted it out? I'm getting frustrated now, It's been nearly a month which I think is a very long time to wait for a bag thats already been made.

I keep emailing them asking and they keep saying they will most mid week then the next week comes and still no email to say it's been posted.

I cancelled my order and asked for a refund for the exact same reasons you mentioned. They kept saying that they will start production next week but no emails. Points to them though, I did get my refund but it is baffling how they choose to do business lately. You can't expect someone to send you money weeks and months in advance and not deliver anything.

I have ordered 6 bags from them in the past and was their customer right from the begining but never experienced delays like this. I got two lovely non-branded, non-rep leather bags from the money I got refunded. Unless they step up their production and make some pretty amazing stuff in the time frame they tell their customers, I honestly can't see them keeping up with this and it is sad. I mean, I really want to be a loyal customer and support them and I really will but only if they will be punctual and consistent.

I asked for a refund last week and they promised they would send the bag out mid week (this week) and still nothing, I emailed them yesterday but no reply.

I've now asked to cancel my order and wish to be refunded the full amount. They should of made it clear from the beginning that it would take X amount of time to be posted. I wouldn't mind but they said they had stock of the bag I wanted. Such a shame I was looking forward to receiving my bag but I can't wait any longer and they shouldn't keep promising me they are gonna post it and they don't.

So.... I've bought a number of bags from Catty over the years. I'm in the market for a PS1. She quoted me $200. I asked for tiny discount due to loyalty. She said no. There's another seller - I won't post the URL and don't know the sellers name. Suffice it to say there's a "fall" in the URL name. I've read some positive reviews about them. They have the PS1 I want for $200 as well. I'm irritated with Catty and feel like asking her why I should buy from her when I can get same product from new seller. Should I try to haggle?

Second she no longer accepts PayPal. Only western union or aliexpress and both make me nervous.

I've bought from Catty probably 10 times over the years, several of them over Aliexpress. It was fine. Got my stuff as quickly as usual.

I'm still trying to figure out who this LJ person is, because I still want my Phantom. Any ideas?

I am going through withdrawals over here.

I know there are other vendors but I've purchased from Jacky for SO LONG it feels strange to WU over funds to someone I've never done business with.

Catty shipped my bag on 10/7. It's now the 25th and when I track the package it's like it's still in China.... do you think this is normal? It's never taken longer than 2 weeks. When I emailed her last week she said not to worry that there's no problem - China to Houston. But soon it will be 3 weeks. Am I over reacting? I read somewhere that with the advent of Aliexpress the airplanes leaving guangzhou are overwhelmed and packages are just sitting there waiting.... thoughts?

I don't know. I was just repeating something I had read in regards to a back up of items needing to be shipped just waiting at the airport for a 'ride'. Didn't know if anyone else had heard this.

I, myself, ordered directly from Catty. It's just never taken this long and this is the first time I paid WU. Although, I did it with my bank card so maybe I can d a chargeback if I have to wait too much longer. But Catty has always come through in the past.


EDIT ------- I just tracked it and just an hour ago it got to San Francisco and got handed over to Customs. I'm hoping it clears customs lol! Then it should be here in a couple of days...

I guess, ladies, be aware that shipping at least from Catty will take about a week longer than it used to because of all the items getting shipped out of China these days. Just something to bear in mind.... I know I will.
