I am so sorry to hear that! that makes me sad. It's been a while since I've been here as well. I am wondering about the black leather as well. I have my eye on a GSH city. can anybody provide feedback? thanks

I'm also wondering what the black leather is like! I've been carrying my NBF RGGH black City every day for more than two years, it's my baby I've been thinking about buying a back-up, in case it breaks in a couple of years and they don't sell them any more.

Should I or shouldn't I?

Just received the black classic from T&D and I love the leather. It's a bit wrinkly in a good way and expensive looking.

PS apparently they're doing pale grey next, and electric blue.

DiorKiss, it might be wise to place an order. and you can also order a replacement black strap and tassels. they used to charge me 15$ for an extra strap. very inexpensive!

jacky has the LV chain louise. maybe that means he will carry the LV vivienne? (they have similar hardware)

i have a black velo RH. it is narrower but deeper than a city. both city and velo are very similar.

you can always ask T+D to sell you an extra part time strap so the city can be worn cross body.

thanks for the feedback and suggestion. I think my only concern now, is that I have hardware issue with two of my bags and would hate to get another bag with hardware issues. I love the look and the leather but the hardware makes me hesitate.
after hearing your desciprtion I'm leaning towards the city.....

what hardware issue are you talking about? do you mean the hardware falling off? i have asked them for extra RH pieces before just in case one falls off before. they were happy to supply them.

I have a day with RH where the screw which attached the handle kept coming unscrewed. another day with GGH has problems with the zipper coming unzipped in that the teeth of the zipper won't stay together. both bags are beautiful in terms of leather and design.
