I also asked pricing about a lv azur eva and it was over a 100, seems like a lot, not? I read throught the forum that her damier is very good, that's why I asked - did someone ever buy an eva from her or similar? I just think it's a lovely bag for going out I have it in brown damier from catty but it's broken now

I had Fang send me pics of the beige classic chanel and to be honest, it didn't look so good at all…what happened to the quality? I would not pay upwards to the tune of $400 for it.

I can tell you that you are exactly right. A few days after CNY I placed an order with her. I asked for preship pic multiple time. Before paying she was so good in replying. But after paying, no reply to my email with regards to preship pic. I waited 2 days for PSP, no reply. 5 days, still no reply. 7 days, she posted a tracking on Ali site. I was worried that I might get a bad batch. Sadly, it turned out to be true. The color of the leather was blotchy all over. It was light near the diamond stitching but darker in the center. This is very obvious on the side and bottom of the bag. The diamond on the bottom is badly misalligned. There are scuffings in one bottom corner and pen marks left by factory when they made the bag.
She told me the pen marks wipes easily. Which is true. But it still won't fix the other major issues.
She did sent me replies when I sent her pics of the bag. I immediately sent the bag to her. I couldn't believe it cost me that much to send the bag back to her. $58 for priority mail.
Upon receipt, I told her I could get a GST instead of a refund if she provides me with a discount. She quoted me $490 which is more expensive than what she quoted me before and everyone else. I told her no, give me the refund. She asked she could sell the bag at $470. Which is $7 less than what she usually quote. Not enough to cover my grief unfortunately.
In the end she gave me a refund. I know she is one of the good ones for giving me full refund. But I would rather she gave me a bag she had checked before and the preship pic I asked for.
It just makes me feel sad because I spent numerous hours researching bags. Comparing pics from different sellers. In the end, the bag received was clearly different than what was pictured.

Hi guys. Quick question re: NBF's current leather. I am thinking of getting a good old classic Black City from the guys. Has anyone got one from the recently or have any idea of what the current leather is like compared to the auths? A friend got the Vert Menthe recently, which looks great, but I haven't had a chance to go shopping & look at the authentics recently so I am not sure how soft/thin the current leather is & what NBR are using for their black bags...

Sorry, got too late to edit my last post, so just wanted to add the following!

If anyone has any thoughts on what hardware they think T&D do best please feel free to advise! I haven't got a classic from them in a few years, but I liked them. I got an Electric Blue with GGH but the gold tarnished & faded so I don't wear so much. I got the giant hardware in silver on a clutch which looked good but I never saw their Giant Rose Gold finish.



Also considering their Coqueliqot...is it suede? I have a bright red bal from the guys from years ago, got it at the same time as a cream one, both in city size. The red is looking pretty beaten up now. I got the magenta & another blue (turquoise) in the city a few years later & the leather was much thicker & the bags actually a little bigger. Which makes me a bit wary of carrying the first two. However, I love the red so much I just carry it & hope no-one notices It is so battered now I can't imagine anyone pays much attention to it. The sizing difference & the big difference in the leather has made me a bit wary & not having handled an auth in a while I am not sure what I should be looking out for/expecting! How do NBF compare to the auths these days?

Sorry for the pics, I know they are not the best but where done quickly to show you a recent example. Just received this black G12 with rose gold hardware from nbf. Shipping was super fast so that is a bonus. I cannot really tell how it compares to the original G12 RG Noir and would love input from someone who knows better.

If you are used to the vintage-y feel of the RH then the rose gold will appear more shiny and formal. I do like the mini Giant hardware though. The leather is soft but quite textured. I own several NBF's over the years and they have really lasted and look gorgeously worn in. I don't know if I will be keeping this as I think I am a more RH person but I think this is a beautiful bag overall.
