Hi girls,

I'm planning to order a Galet. But all I have so far from T&D are city bags, thinking of getting a part time this round. Could any girlies who own a city and part time, tell me the difference please? (they look fairly similar in size to me). Also, Im torn between SGh or GGH...cheers.

The part time is shorter in height and longer in width. I'll have to measure for exact dimensions. The shoulder strap is longer...long enough to wear cross body depending what you're wearing, build, etc.

The part time is my favorite bag though! Has a lot of options for how you can wear it, slouches really nicely, roomy, etc. I do love the city and other bags too, but you should definitely look into the part time!

I'll let the other girls weigh in on GGH vs. SGH as I'm strictly and SGH girl because I really only every wear silver jewelry.

Shari: Irish too I just bought my first part time, I'll take a shot of it on me vs a city on me. I'm still not sure I love it but we'll see!

viasarah - i also hope t&d do the town eventually. imo, you have to be really petite to pull off the hip.

I just paid for my Galet Day RH. The boys said that they were shorted on the leather and they weren't even sure all the girls who pre-ordered would get their bags... then I see that on ioffer, they are taking orders for the Galet bags.

Did everyone who was on the list get their bags ordered? Maybe it was just a ploy for quick payment. No problem there, I've been waiting for this one for awhile!

update on my nightingale. sooo slouchy and beautiful.

unfortunately haven't taken it out in at least a month. there's no room in my life for a big bag anymore

Thank you. Yea I just can't really see using it. I had actually ordered a Raisin PT but the last one had a rip or something so I got the work instead. Bad idea by me lol.

Thanks thesiren! The color is incredible!!! I LOVE how rich it is and how much dimension it has. I keep looking at pictures of people with works trying to make myself love it, but I know the style doesn't fit me

Terrible pic of the lovely quality of NBF's but I wanted to get a quick comparison pic up for you. Please note that some of the strap is peeking out from the side of he black PT making it appear slightly longer.

Of course the PT strap is longer too adding some wear options!

razz - good job on plumping up your raisin! looks luscious i must agree with you, i can't work the work neither as i need some sort of strap. and i also wished the handles were a bit longer to fit comfortably over the shoulder like the PT.

shari_sister - the PT handles are longer than the city, so it makes carryin on the shoulder much easier also, here are pics of galet PT GGH and GSH to help you decide!

mm07: Thank you. Oh yeah - My bag looks a bit better but it's still wrinkly. I really wanted to buff it with a cloth like you said to make it softer but its taking off the black dye! So I stopped.

So if they're making it in velo however, does it mean they the velo in galet do "exist" yet? Or will they in the future...? ?

nope - velo in galet doesn't exist as of now but T&D received many requests for it therefore will be doing it

they will also make the velo in anthra if we have enough interest. velo anthra does exist in auth. i'm starting a list please add your name if interested!
