Has anyone heard from T&D about bleu roi? I asked them about it and all they could tell me is they are waiting for the sample to arrive in a few weeks... Sample of bags or the leather? I don't want to miss it though.

I think they are waiting on the leather from the tannery. I sent T&D my authentic bleu roi and they said that they would be getting it back to me soon, so I guess this means that they expect to receive the bleu roi leather for their bags soon.

ohhhhhmy - is there a difference between the 2.55 and 1112? my chanel measures 10" x 6" x 2.5" which apparently is the same for both the 2.55 and 1112...?? i'm really not familiar with chanel at all.

I just received a "Super" Azur Galliera PM from Catty, and I am beyond disappointed. At this price point, $180, I was expecting the alignment of the canvas to be perfect, and it is completely off. There is supposed to be one "Louis Vuitton Paris" square at the bottom of the front of the purse, and mine has two (one on either side of the front panel).

Call me nitpicky, but this is a serious giveaway that the bag is a replica. Moreover, a "super" bag should not have such an obvious flaw, yes?

I thought I recalled reading someone being happy with their Super Azur Galliera bag from Catty. Perhaps I was just unlucky...

And to complement my misfortune, I will not ship items back to China due to parcels being lost in transit (nightmare and a half!). I guess I'll have to give this away or try to sell it locally.

amethyst_sparkle i am not really sure. i just did a quick search of the dimensions catty gave me and found other sellers listing the bag as the chanel 1112. jacky has the 1112 and it is only $85 abet not sure the quality compared to catty's can someone familiar with chanel chime in? thanks

Sorry to hear that happen to you.. Would you mind posting pictures so we can see what your talking about??? I bought one from a tfser && its sooooooo perfect OMG the only thing thats off is the inside of the bag the fabric is not correct but I dont really care because the bag is just fab... I asked her where she got it from and she told me it was from catty..

How to condition the leather on T&D bags????

Hi Ladies!!
I received my GALET GGH yesterday! Super happy and love that I went with GGH and not GSH! This is a blackberry picture so it's not that great, but I'll take some hi-res images when I get home.

Now, admitting that this is my first T&D purchase, can all of you veterans please school me on what to do in order to get it looking at it's most authentic state? I've overheard conditioning the leather, placing it on a door handle, etc. Let me know where to start please!

I'm very happy with the GGH as I think it brings out some of the muddy undertones. The leather indeed as reported is a bit shiny though, so I'd like to knock it down a bit. Sooo...can any of you let me know how to condition the bag so that it's not as shiny? Perhaps please link me to a post as to the steps to take and what to use? Any help would be great, thanks!

Here are some photos, LovedByChanel. I'm glad you got a lovely one. Mine has a great interior, but completely off exterior... go figure.

Mine is a clear case of "don't copy the design from the LV website"! The factory didn't realize that 99% of the time, the design on the LV website is off intentionally to throw off counterfeiters. Darn it, if the bag weren't so expensive, I'd just save myself the hassle and buy auth.

Edited to add: I just noticed the positioning of the front plate is off, too... Wow, this is a 'Picasso' rep.

She is seriously lacking attention to detail and a lot of her production is crap. 90% of the items I have ordered from her in 2010 have all either broken, worn off immediately, or were manufactured with obvious to a blind eye poor quality! Click here to see my rant a few pages back. Considering that she's usually 30-40 dollars more than Jacky, it's a shame her pieces are so cheap and horrible. I'm so sorry this happened to you but I am done wasting money with Catty.

amethyst, i understand by what you mean with "exaggerating" the issue about the T&D bales but honestly it bothers me.
i'm an authentic owner and "small" detail like this will bother me

i totally agree. bales are a small detail on a bag, but it's of utmost importance to me, the 2nd being the GGH being a different tone. maybe it's because i also own auth and pay attention to those details specifically, but wouldn't mind other things.

as baga mentioned - it's totally your own opinion what you can or can't accept on a rep. hi baga

like in the pics that cloudyblue posted for RGGH - i cringed when i saw those square bales but i'm sure some others wouldn't give a hoot

I'm a handbag nuts that gets a kick when finding the best rep or looking for the first rep on new it styles of the season. I'm also waiting for Galet a Velo RH (also Day VD GGH) and I was thrilled to see stylehouseinc pic with her City Galet GGH! So beautiful congrats! can't wait for mine now.

piperbelle.I have never bought from Catty, But if you're unhappy with the bag and wont use it because it's not up to par or what you expected, why don't you send it back and get a credit or another bag. it might cost you an extra $40 or so to send it back, but i think it will be worth spending a bit more to return it and get something more to your liking.
I'm sure Catty will work with you? I'm sure you're not the first person who returned anything, and i doubt you will be the last.

i'm not a hypocrite and post here just to sneak, i bought reps too, but mostly i bought it in store where i can touch and feel the bag before i send the money.
that's why i'm being very extra careful on spending on reps by internet shopping.
i just need to know what's the deal before i purchased, and so far this thread is like the best ever, people are being very honest in giving review. although well yeah i am some kind of a "cynic" at heart, it's always scared me when people are being too positive on something

btw i just wanna share that catty's wang rocco are GREAT! the bag is heavy but it help the bag slouched the way i like it.
my friend just bought a chanel from jacky and she says she's disappointed. i haven't seen the bag myself though

^ most of us are not being fooled or trying to fool ourselves that NBF is the best while it's not. but we are happy with what we are paying for. i agree, there is flaw, and it bothers people, then those should not buy. i dont buy GGH because it bothers me, the rest is fine.
that said, if NBF can fix the bales, that even better, if not, im cool, still buying and still loving it

piperbelle I see what your talking about && im really sorry that happen to you.. I think you should try your options talk to catty and she how long you have to return it && find out how much it will cost to send it back to her.. If she says she will give you a month to return see if you can sell it in your area. CL is really good.. If you sell it great but if you dont send it back to her.. Now I ask for lots of pictures of the bag before I buy && if they cant do that then I dont buy period..Here are pictures of my galliera pm from the Tfser she bought it this year in feb I think oh && my old galliera .

&& I must say I had 3 bags from NBF!!!! Now I just have one && their bags are the best bal reps on the market period IMO.. Their leather is nice && lately they have been pushing bags out super fast compared to before && they have a variety of up to date colors...Also they have been fixing little details on their bags batch by batch. But these are reps && there not going to perfect period even if they fix the bales I think sooner or later its going to be something else thats off that someone points out... Like on lv bags the string they use to do the stitching is yellow but it should'nt be a bright yellow like how it is on my galliera pictured below... But who is going to stop me && say omg your stitching is way to bright && your bag is fake hehehehehe.. I think we need to just rock our bags with confidence and forget about the little stuff.. We will sleep better at night hehehe jmo.

I'm sorry you've had a bad experience as well. I'm still waiting to hear back, as it's still quite early in the morning there. I hope we can resolve things easily. If this were a cheaper bag, I perhaps wouldn't have minded as much - it seems almost foolish to spend $180. Or -- scratch that -- it IS foolish to spend that much.

piperbelle - sorry about your catty experience. i had a bad experience with her for my first and only (and probably last) order earlier this year looks like she works with a partner who actually ships the stuff from his end and he is the reason for poor quality control

chicadee, Velo is my favo style now.I love Galet leather but I will get City, never seen auth. Galet Velo.T&D told me the same- that Galet Velo exist, but I wont ordrer untill I see auth.
