Hello!
As promised a long time ago, here are pictures of the gold "enhancement" of my black city GGH. Thank you so much Baga for sharing the magic potion!:flower:
Both pictures are mine. The first one is before the enhancement, the second one is after.
I am going to receive very soon a galet and sorbet NBF! I will share the pics when I get them.

If anyone could share with me Jacky's new link I would very much appreciate! I sent him an email but he didn't reply yet! TIA

chicadee;7590771 coco - congrats on your new daria :flower: is the leather the same as the alexa oak from j?[/QUOTE said:
Chicadee: The leather on my Jacky Mulberry Daria fringed satchel is smooth and not thick and grainy at all. It is slightly darker as well than my oak Alexa. The leather on my Daria is as soft as butter.

Piperbelle: I am sorry a out your bad experience with Catty. I have only purchased two bags from her.
One was a mulberry bayswater and that one was fine. The second bag was a mulberry Alexa that had the measurements completely off. She took two months to find another buyer for it and another week to credit me back my money. Dealing with her was very trying. It was enough to know that I don't want to deal with her ever again.

Danyline-You're welcome..You did a GREAT job, I'm glad you're happier with the GGH now.:flower: Now find a metal worker to give the bales a dimple and you'll be DIY'D out (pimp my bag) I actually have a great cobbler near where I live who i bet if I take in an auth shoulder strap he will be able to replicate it on the NBF, I'll keep you posted on that one ladies who like curved bales.
Never really bothered as I am not a city girl, never use the shoulder strap...Only have one NBF city all the rest were works.

Arisaa- No you didn't:shock:..You went into Bal Paris with the truffle work with painted HW! You are a brave lady:flower::lol: I went in there last year when i was there, I didn't carry a NBF in there tho:p

Hey coco:flower: Glad you're loving your new Mulberry.

Piperbelle- i guess we all get burned once...if the bag bothers you that much just try and sell it as LBChanel suggested to someone who is not that particular or bothered about all the details or give it away..out of sight out of mind..thats my motto:D

seahorseinstripe- I'm off to buy the brown one after this post...I'll post it on the other side when i get it:flower:

piperbelle, I'm sorry about your bag. Isn't the PF one a smaller size, I don't know much about LV so pardon my ignorance, but it looks much smaller than the one you have. Like an MM or PM, whatever. I hope you don't intend to tell PayPal Catty's merchandise is fake, because PP will surely shut down her account. This even happened to Fang a few months ago or so she told me.

The sizing does look off to me. At first I thought she sent the GM.

I did not mention anywhere in my dispute that the item was fake. It was a simple "not as described" claim. She did eventually relent and give me a partial refund, which I appreciate, but her attitude was just terrible. To think, if she had just agreed to cooperate from the start, this mess could all have been avoided. :innocent:

As it turns out, I have someone who wants the purse - misaligned canvas and all. She's LV-savvy, but wants to use it as a 'knock-around' kind of bag. I'll be happy never to lay eyes on it again.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good LV seller besides Jacky? I am pleased with Jacky's merchandise - I just don't like using Western Union. I don't think I'll try for another Azur Galliera PM, but it would be good to find a quality seller for future reference.

piperbelle, Jacky takes paypal and I believe Joy also takes paypal but her shipping fees are high.

tigerlilly - yes does look like 2 different bags. i think j just changed the first picture after changing the leather...most likely due to complaints the leather was too smooth. i'm only guessing. best to email and ask him to confirm :flower:

teja - j accepts paypal. you just need to add 7% fee to the total.

piperbelle - sorry to hear about your ordeal with catty. that's just terrible. i'm surprised she is acting this way, considering how much free marketing she gets from this and other rep forums. she should be forerever grateful!

Sorry about your Catty troubles, but glad you got a resolution. Jacky will take Paypal, he charges $30 + PP fees. I've done it twice now.Just email him with your request! Good luck :flower:

My friggin thoughts exactly

Is he trying to pull a fast one on us? Like, I can just imagine ordering it thinking it would look like the pictures and then getting a smooth one--- then trying to return it, but ending up stuck with it. :(

^But don't you think this pics looks a lot to the old one and the first one looks realy good??? I think it are two different bags.........

uiggu- it was the GSH sorbet FIRST!! it is SOOO adorable. i believe amethystsparkle and i were on the list. feel free to make a new one and just add yourself if you are interested :) i think we need 6 gals... c'mon gals! you know you want a GSH first.. in the yummy sorbet!

btw, i got my FANTABULOUS Mulberry Hayden in Oak from MY fairy bag mother lol. It is the smooshiest bag ever.. thinking of getting the black one just because i love how it slouches and it is such a versatile bag. Definitely lighter than my Prada which I have gotten accustomed to, my shoulder thanks it. I also love the magnetic closure- very easy to get in and out. Thanks so much!

Playing catch up here....PinkPrincess, glad you love the oak Hayden! It was hard to part with but I'm dying for a drawstring style Mulberry!

Did anyone notice the pics on Jacky's site of the rocco with strap changed and got
a lot better or do you think this is the auth?

i talked to jacky about this, but i forgot to report back that day! i emailed him on wednesday (maybe?) about the bag's leather being far too smooth and that it should be pebbled like the original rocco and (though i think this was one of his assistants) "he" said they would be changing the leather and the image would be changed on the site later that day. initially, i didn't want to come back here and say it would be changed that day (because i didn't think that would happen), and then it just got away from me and i forgot to mention it.

i do see the leather is still smooth in the other pics of the bag, but i think jacky may not find it efficient (though it would be) to change all of the pics. :innocent:

cloudyblue, yes the bag on the right in the first pics was not made...the hardware is only small on the first and town...
the new pics you posted are better in terms of the thimbles, but i looked at mine and those are still off...
the zippers are shinier (especially the pulls), but it's hard to tell if they are a true rose gold or more a rose toned yellow gold...know what i mean?
i think the only way to truly tell is to compare the fabao bag and an authentic side by side...

missaudrey...that's exactly what i love about the RGGH...
it has a definite antique feel that is less "blingy" than the GSH and GGH...
i have a feeling T&D will do RGGH eventually....i think we just have to be patient and hope they will find hardware that is spot on...

Uiggu: LOVE your Vert D'eau GGH City. That combination is a definite winner! I was getting a little tired of Bal bags, but that one just might have changed my mind. ^_^

Eskieluvr: Your GSH Vert D'eau day looks awesome too :) But did you not end up liking the color as much as you thought you would? Or is it not close enough to the auth for you?

I'm so far behind reading on the forum and so now only following up to questions asked on page 284...Sorry!

I have not seen an authentic VD so I can't really say about the color, but to be perfectly honest, I don't get real picky over the details. I think the color is definitely close enough to the authentic (as seen in pictures) and it's a gorgeous color. I was torn on the color itself because I'm not sure if it blends with my wardrobe. It seems that the bags that go with everything I wear have been raisin, the anthra that was sold in the summer of 09 and blue layette. All of those might be warm colors. Perhaps it's the coolness of this bag that's throwing me off? That said, it really is very pretty and the leather is lovely. I have no complaints about the quality of the bag at all!

Wow, that's great to hear about Jacky accepting PayPal. I had heard whispers of it, but thought it was for select, valued clientele - I haven't bought too many items from him. Thanks for the info!

This talk of T&D doing rose gold hw sounds promising. Now if we could only get them to do covered hardware... I know it isn't durable - that seems to be their reasoning for not doing it - but I really like the covered style. It's funkier than RH without having the flashiness of giant silver/(rose)gold hardware.

Here is my current Jacky Mulberry Family. I am most likely rehoming a few bags as I will be getting a Neely soon when Jacky makes it in Steel.

Left to right -Mulberry Alexa Oak Oversized, Daria Fringed Satchel Gingerbread, Black Alexa Oversized, Alexa Hobo Oak, Alexa Clutch Oak.

wow Coco that a GREAT collection!!!! wish one is your favo?

My favorite is my Daria fringed satchel gingerbread. I am very partial to flap bags. I love How you can carry the bag as a shoulder bag or cross body bag. The fringe detail gives it a great Boho vibe as well. I truly love it.
