meryll, a sorbet flat clutch sounds soooooo pretty!! i feel like the color is too "pink" for me, but it's such a pretty color, just a pop of it in a flat clutch sound perfect!!!

PinkPrincess: I also have an SC from Jacky and the leather is so thick and soft, and the lining of the bag is a really really soft suede!!! but because of all the thick leather, it's a bit on the heavy side. HTH!!

meryll: great LV--so classic! Are you happy with the quality of the hardware? I've found the hardware on some of J's bags to be hit and miss. And IMHO nothing gives a rep away quicker than skinny sickly hardware.

I am sorry but my english is not good enought to explain you how is the quality of the bag. It is thick but soft like butter.after 6 months of use, its now very slouchy. I love it. The quality is very good.

I can see no difference between my bag and the real one o the outside. The big différence in onthe inside lining wich is more dark than the real one.

Did anyone get a VD PT GGH? I just received mine and it doesn't have feet. but it should since VD's with GGH are '07 and Bal aren't going to make VD GGH anymore? Right?

Hey girls

I just receive my second order with Catty and I thought I would share with you....
the first time I was super happy with my order and today i'm quite disappointed.
The Chanel bag I order is fine I guess but the rest....

The CL shoes I order are REALLY REALLY bad and poor quality... they look super cheap I'll never wear that.
Then I ordered a tiffany ring... the shape is really not accurate to her picture.
The other stuff I ordered is just 'ok' .

regarding jacky's hardware on lv's, i think the quality has gone down. we have a speedy 30 and a makeup bag that have both broken even though they were barely used (the makeup bag broke within two weeks of arrival!).

on the topic of the coco, my diego with studs at the bottom is very heavy but looks so damn cool that i really don't care. =D

Hi everyone,

I just got my Reg. Oak Mulberry Alexa from J, and the lock in the middle (the little turnlock) is wobbly - you guys jinxed me ; I can shift it back and forth and "wiggle" it, and when I turn it more than once in one way, it feels like it is going to break off. Also, there are little black "specks" on the front plate (though I'm not as bothered by those) and the trees on the little buttons aren't clear. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do? Otherwise, I think the bag overrall looks great. Here are some photos. (Attachment feature isn't working for me)

Bal will no longer make GGH except for black I think so my PT VD GGH need feet; T&D said they will mail it to me no prob . Can you please tell me the differences in mirror and inside pocket from '07 to present ones?

platinum serenity - every picture looks different because everyone takes pictures differently, in different lighting, with different style bags with different hardware. galet is french for stone, so it's supposed to be a grey with beige undertones, but i think its chameleon-like quality is intentional.
also, believe it or not, hardware plays a strong role in influencing the overall perceived color tone of a bag.
the coolness of gsh cancels out the beige undertones and produces a flat, one dimensional grey. but with the warmth of rh or ggh, the golden beige undertones are accentuated and enhanced, making for a golden wheat grey.

also, as the boys have often said, leather is an organic material that doesn't always take to synthetic chemicals (dye) evenly. some hides may in fact be more beige-grey than others. hth

jihanemo - thank you! i don't wear my chanel's often at all. they're so delicate and perfect that i don't want to run the chance of them getting scuffed. i'll wear them out to special occasions, dinners, luncheons, etc...'classy' places. when i go to the bars or nightclubs, chanel stays home!
