lucy92: i posted here a few days ago that if anyone wanted a Folk bag they should write to T&D. They are taking orders for it now. Presently they are only offering it in sorbet, anthracite and black. Later on they might make it in blue roi or pivoine. I am getting a sorbet and anthracite one as I love flap bags. I just got a vintage Kooba Annie tan flap and I love her.

If you would like one just write to T&d. The folk bag is a very simple style to make so I don't think it will take too long to reproduce. They will have mine on Wednesday.

thanks for the update. when exactly did they receive your sample folk or have they not got it yet? i had asked T+D about the folk in my last email. but they forgot that part...i'm going to email them again.

did anyone else see this swatch of new colors? these balenciaga colors would be available in september...i am loving the nuage color (looks like a very nice periwinkle shade) and also the vieux rose color (looks a bit like the old antique rose color) hope T+D have it within their budget to make some of these...

As always I am loving grenadine.. Why does Bal always tempt me with pink! I keep thinking the next pink will be my favorite. Fingers crossed that sorbet will satisfy my pink craving for awhile.

madmurder- of course I will review the LVs from Catty! I'm pretty nervous since this is my first time ordering LV from her. I want to trick my mom who buys only auth LVs- hopefully they hold up against hers so I can prove to her that LV fakes are not bad at all!

PinkPrincess-I know what you mean about the pinks, hopefully Sorbet will be just the pink I want too. I love the "pale magenta" that was out a couple of years ago (my HG) I am hoping Sorbet is close to that color, will find out soon

Nuage is lovely, but I'll already have three Bal blues and one blue LV, so I'll probably pass... the others are pretty but don't really do anything for me. I would still love to see Bal make a peacock teal. With GGH!

I assume the boys will make the new colours with GGH if requested, right? I don't mind having Frankenbags!

Oh, and coco109, I'm very excited to see your Folk bags! That style looks really practical... currently my black RH Day is my go-to "easy" bag, but I could see loving and using a Folk in Anthracite!

Lucy92: I just sent my bag to T& D on Friday. They will have it on Wednesday, 7/28. I expect to have a folk bag from them in mid August.
Hopefully I will have both of them- sorbet and anthracite. It is a very easy style to make as the lines are simple.

My NBF Raisin GSh Work after some intense conditioning. It's come a long way and actually slouches pretty nicely now...I just wish it had some sort of long strap. So many of you look so chic carrying these in the crook of your elbow or by hand...I can't seem to pull it off.

This looks awesome..I bought one of the sales T&D bags and have the same DRY problem...so you used baseball conditioner? Just moistened the bag and rubbed the conditioner in? Sorry for so many questions, but I have never had to "fix" a bag before...

Lotti, that Galet Day is gorge! I love the colour of it in your modelling pic. Maybe I should get one...? I wanted a true grey like Argent, but I'm loving the charcoally tones in your pic. I know this has been asked a million times & I'm really sorry, BUT! Would you say the taupe tones are prevalent?

IN OTHER NEWS GUYS, quick question: do you think Sorbet GSH Day is too bright and flashy? I've got a PP invoice waiting to be paid for a Sorbet GSH Flat Clutch, but I love my VD Day so much I'm considering switching... (sorry, I know I do this in public every time new colours come out. T&D wrote me to say they want everyone to know they officially CAN do rose gold hardware. The zips arrived today and they are a "perfect match" to the auth coin purse they have.

If you want rose gold hardware, write them so they can get an idea of how many they'll need to order and for what colors. They'll let us know which colors they'll offer after they figure minimum orders but Black, they said, is "for sure".
