Chupi I have pondered the plum, but as I have a sapphire bal from T&D I've now decided against it.

Now i know I'm not a pink hand bag person.
Different strokes for different folks...I have a spearmint Marc Jacobs Venetia that i have no problem carrying and love...which is a darker than Vert D'eau more like Bals Papeete, But it all boils down to what you like and what you're comfortable with....I'm sure you will find lots more colors to love.

/\ sorry missed my edit time..i also wanted to add..if and when you can..try and go to a store and try on the bag and checkout the colors and style's IRL..it might make it easier for you to decide when it comes to ordering any bag purchase on line when you can't see it or see how it looks on you.
I have done this with styles and colors in the past, and i find it really helps when coming to make a decision.

Do you guys know if Jacky takes pics of his authentic bags instead of his rep? I just looked at his authentic CL talita pic and compare it with the rep pics and they are exactly the same angle, lighting and everything.

I just thought i'd say 'Hi' to everyone. I'm a newbie here but i'm not new to reps. So far i've bought from Richard, srbag, catty, jacky, a few random iofferer's and have four bags from T&D. All of my experiences haven't been good though, but I must say that Jacky is fantastic - i'm onto my 5th order from him since March (i'm out of control!)

At the moment i'm tracking my latest Jacky order: the cobalt SC (jacky told me that the handles are now sewn on, not just glued) and a black bayswater - I should hopefully have them in a few days

Welcome moobasgirl! I'm still a relative newbie on the site b/c I don't post all that much I'm really interested in seeing mod shots of Jackie's black bayswater. I'm likely going to add that bag (just not sure in what color) to my collection once the weather turns cooler. Don't be shy.

p.s. I'm picking up my nude alexa from J today after work. After all the fab shots I had to get this bag. Fingers crossed that J picked a perfect one for me.

after seeing BBS's pics of her incredible jacky oversized nude alexa with python trim, i couldn't resist and ordered one myself!!!
i really was (and still am) not a fan of the alexa...it's boring, frankly, in normal plain leathers, but the nude plonge lambskin juxtaposed with flakey, scaley python trim?? irresistable! and the rose gold hardware is uber classy i'm in LOVE!

i also ordered from J the louis vuitton zippy wallet in rose florentine vernis, and WOW! what exceptional quality!!! i can't wait to wear these babies out tonight to see my girl Kathy Griffen!!

OMG! My LV SC Cobalt via a lovely TFS lady has arrived and I am in LOVE!!
It is from Jacky's older batch, I believe but omg, the leather is super nice, thick, saturated, velvety!! The stitching, the color!! AHHH I can't wait until the weather turns a little cooler so I can take her out And it has that amazing leather smell! I just can't stop sniffing it!

And even the interior is soo nice, made of this gorgeous suede leather- all the ladies awaiting the LV SC from Jacky seriously you will not regret it!! <3

Will post photos once I'm done with the NCLEX sometime next week!!

There was a Chanel on Jacky's site that I had my eye on and the pics were of the authentic. I think that when Jacky purchases an auth to replicate he initially has pics of the authentic version up first... I'm not sure if he eventually changes them over but in my case he was only to happy to send pics of his rep once it was manufactured. Just send him a quick email

I have been busy reading all the posts on the thread, trying to educate myself on the whole process of rep bbags, sizes and colors before I bit the bullet and purchase. I am still in my jammies reading fervently hoping my eyes don't bug out of my head!

I own a decent collection of auth bags of varying designers but no rep bags yet.

I have always loved the RH (I take that to mean regular hardware, please correct me if I am wrong) and would love to find that on a Black, Anthracite (or similar darker grey) or Mogano in the City or Work style.

From the sites that I have visited the City measures very close to the Work.
Is that correct? Additionally, I know that some form of dark grey and black will be easier to find...is the Mogano (or very similar) something that is
even being produced anymore by the rep companies?

Crystal!! It's GOOORGE.. so I got an RH sorbet first, should I get a GSH sorbet flat clutch??? Calling all flat clutch owners- do you use it a lot? What do you use it for? I am loving my envelope clutch so far but I really want to try out the flat clutch style!!!!

I have a sang flat clutch and I love it :-) I feel it's more casual than the envelope, but still dressy enough to wear to cocktails, or going out on a nice date :-) I am loving the Sorbet/GSH combination. I just got a sorbet iPad clutch with GSH and I love the way the silver sparkles next to the bright pink!

Lovelovemode: Do you have any pics of your Oak Alexa after Leather Revive. I have a similar problem as yours, the leather of the flap is nice but the leather on the body of the bag is stiff, wrinkly, dry and it looks like it was painted on instead of dyed. I used apple care and apple guard, it helped somewhat, not very much to make the leather slouchy and soft. I am intrigued by the Leather Revive product. Do you buy this online?

Hi Pursefreak, unfortunately in my case Leather Revive doesn't help much. We seemed to get the same bad batch of pigskin Alexas. Mine is still stiff, and wrinkly in some area, but no longer dry. I guess you can use any brand of leather conditioner. Also i use Mr.Clean magic eraser sponge, it help to reduce the shine tremendously.
My Alexa looked much better after some Mr. Clean sponge treatment!

Beave! Thanks IMISSU! Yeah the FC is def more casual. I just get tired of carrying the EC by holding it or putting it in my armpit.. I was thinking the sorbet GSH FC would be more casual but it just looks soooo... square??!

To all the VD owners- have you experienced any color transfer yet? Is it getting dirty? I would want a VD EC but knowing me, I would dirty it up quickly with all the handling I put my EC through.

Anyone in the US doing a Jacky or Catty order soon?? I want to get a wallet! There's a cute quilted pink chanel wallet on C's site that just look soo adorable, I don't care if it was ever made- it's just too cute!

Welcome! If you've been reading here long, you probably already know that T&D (aka NBF) are definitely the best for Balenciaga reps. There is actually quite a difference in the City and Work in size, so you may want to look at modeling pictures to decide which one is more suited to you. Personally, I'm very small, and the Work just totally overwhelms me!

I don't know about Mogano, but I believe that T&D will be doing runs of Black and Anthracite bags soon - you should get in touch with them if you want to be on the list for one of these bags - they do tend to go quickly!
