The leather's okay...though not as pebbly as the authentic. The cut in the handle is kind of sloppy but I guess that's not so much of an issue since no one's really going to see that when you're wearing it. I guess if you've never seen an authentic one you wouldn't really know that the O-rings are way off, but the hardware color is just too gold. I thought his Rocco with gold studs had the right "tint" and "antiqueness" to it.

bagalicious...i wasn't commenting on the leather on the b&s bags, it doesn't seem to photograph as well as T&D, but other members have vouched for it...
imo i would wait for T&D to get more interest in RGGH and buy from them...you know exactly what you're going to get in terms of the leather...

i don't often buy rep bags but in the past 3 months my sister and i have bought 5 bags from t&d and even though i never even considered myself a bal fan, i'm hesitant to even buy reps from any other seller after being spoiled with such flawless bags. i can't stop using my galet day, just touching the leather makes me happy! however if you guys could recommend good sellers for non-bal reps i would appreciate it, i'm mostly interested in a really good ps1? tia

i'm not stopping anyone from getting a black rggh from buy+sell or hating on their leather. the other bags i've seen from b+s look good but since the only black with rggh right now is 2010 black, and it's the thick, distressed, and jet black kind. if B+S's black leather looks like that in real life i think it would work. i was basing it off pictures and would think T&D's thick bubbly black would do a better job.

coco i love castagna! i'm not too keen on seigle either.. i prefer sandstone.

Orchidian- I am waiting for the rocco from J, but I am not sure what to expect I have heard the studs are "too gold" , "too brass" , "not brass enough" , so at this point I say.............. it is what it is B)

I am still so torn. The sheer amount of piping on the Delightful scares me. That's why I sold my BH...so the Delightful is out. I am back to thinking about the Neverfull again, but in the mono. The variances in the leather trim tone on the Damier was too risky, so for now I am going to skip that. As far as the Artsy...gosh, I still love the style. I saw a gal carrying one today and I couldn't stop looking at it. It was the MM which, after seeing it, *may* be too small (short) for my preference, which also may be an issue with the NF MM. I am tall and have always felt that larger bags (longer) are more proportionate on me. I know the NF GM can be quite wide so I am going to make a trip to the LV store this week to try on the two styles in both sizes. The kids will be back in school so I can think in peace. Once I have the exact style and size that I want nailed down, I would love to get any final opinions before I make the jump.

Miz Alexa gets a day out on the town. It's the Jacky regular Oak version. I love it; even though I've got a lot of other bags that I like, somehow I always reach for the Alexa. The leather has been softening up nicely with use.

Yeah, I said to J the last time I was ordering that there were quite a few girls who were desperate for the Nightingale if he'd bring it back! I did show him a few pics of the new ones available but this is what he came out with...... You should contact him and let him know what you're looking for though as it mayb be easy for him to produce some of the newer version

I have found the best way to order is to either enough at once or just suck it up and pay the fee.....Expressmail i's expensive!!!! Also, when you consider the prices of Jackys bags compared to other sellers of the same quality he doesn't seem to actually add the shipping price in on the site... It's almost like selling something with free shipping on eBay after you spend X amount of dollars..... It's really that you are getting a discount after you spend so much, cause shipping i's neverrrr free!!! I think that protecting a sellers I'd i's important because I've had sellers tell me ladies bought bags and then took them to the store to be authenticated and theeeeeen did chargebacks!!! That's why some sellers request Western Union!!! On a lighter note I'm excited to see the nightingale i's coming back aaaaand that the Rocco will be available In more colors!!! Yay***

I have been scoping for RGGH too, and i know you have commented on B&S work bag - so i have 2 questions...
1) have you seen her charcoal grey (anthracite?) town with RGGH she has posted - is her town any good in terms of quality and matching (i noticed she is providing in all her colors which is odd since the Town was not introduced until 2010) - i only have a work from her which I love... and
2) would love any opinions on the Town style generally - do you have one, and is it better than the First?

Yay.. I see the nightingale is up on Jackys site.. However, I need it in another color cause I have the ROCCO in black on the way. I try not to get too many bags in similar colors. Just found the CHAIN WRAP in a mohogany brown..SO nice!!!

handbagdiva can you go to an LV boutique to try on the artsy MM and GM? i think the GM would be better since you are so tall and like longer bags! joy's GM looks pretty good imo.

daisycx9 yes the town is bigger than the first. i totally want one! the strap is longer than the first so you can wear it crossbody. it's a bit smaller than the city. the only colors b+s offers for towns is the lambskin leather so black and anthra. it does come in murier but i don't think her purple is spot on to that lol. the rose gold looks too gold!

Here is B&S's Town in Anthracite

And in my opinion T&D's leather of late hasn't been fantastic. From the recent past I think Outremer was the best. I have Sang, Black and Galet and ALL are shiny and thin. I can take the thin but the shine is killing me.
I think B&S's leather looks OK. If anyone has any B&S bags could you please put some pics in the pics thread? I've searched but not much comes up for results.
