I have a gray rh work, so a galet GSH day was the way to go. (since I got my new to me blk gsh day i have enjoyed it, and I know i will like it galet as long as it has the GSH)
I don't have a vert d'eau or a maldives rh work, so a papeete will be my serene green dream.(but I would get a maldives or a vert deau if one should appear as well)
And I want a velo but not in a bright or a black, so olive will be the new color and in the new style very 2010.
Somewhere in all this bag addiction ballyhoo..I would also like a RH weekender..but that can wait till August, I'm not going on my European holiday till Septemeber.

I just woke up from a nap...er...meeting a few minutes ago.

OK now I'm in trouble. Not only did I just order two new-to-me NBFs, but now I'm gonna order a Sang and an Olive. Good thing I work in the beauty industry. I can find a way to write them off.

So my Bal family will be:
Cornflower day with RH
Jet black DIY work with RH
AG Twiggy with RH
Natural Day with RH
Olive something...probably Velo...with RH
Sang something...probably PT or MidDay with RH

I think that's enough. At least for this very moment. Or at least until I find a Mandarin bal with big veins.

I will order another medium PS1 from him, in another color. The yellow is currently sold out. Hopefully he will make it in natural......

When I do mreceive my new bales, & new bag, I will bring it to a cobbler and have the screws reinforced & my correc bales installed.

The Deauville is great, it was one of my original reps. In fact I believe it was part of my very first order with Jacky in the spring of 2006, I think. I had bought the black Chanel flap for my mum, the Deauville, the black Epi Figari, Gucci Horsebit Hobo and a white lambskin quilted Chanel overnight bag (Cambon line). That's one bag I didn't post a pic of in my group shot - not that it isn't good, I just didn't have room. I like the Deauville as a travel bag either as my "handbag" carry on or in my luggage as a toiletries case. It's pretty roomy and had lots of pockets and elastic straps to secure everything. It fits a ton of stuff. If you're using the travel sizes of everything, you can still put a flat iron and other assorted goodies in there. Yeah, Joy has it, but doesn't Catty have it too? If so I think her shipping might be considerably cheaper, non? I think I paid like $87 for it back then and I believe it's quite a good rep. Mine looks like it's been all over the world even if I haven't!

thanks shelleybean for the info!! i haven't been traveling much for work so i plan on using it as a purse. do you think it's too big for an everyday bag?? you're right catty does have it. it's $118 from catty and joy had it on sale for $90+ a few months ago but i missed it. funny how you remember the price you paid...haha. good memory.

OK! Noix wishlist for me is pretty much set in stone: GGH City and RH Work. I just freakin' ADORE my RH Works. After going through many style/HW combos and selling off a lot that were lovely but just not "me"...I've decided that I'm an RH Work kind of girl. I love the GH City for a little pizazz and I think it's a great night out bag...but I need my Works for the daily running around, Mum stuff!

I have to confess that I'm really sad if papeete takes over what would have been another vert d'eau run...I know the boys never confirmed they'd make it again...but since Bal is doing it again, why wouldn't they? Have you SEEN ame_sparkle's GGH VD City? It's a heavenly little bag. I'm guessing papeete only comes in RH or GSH? We need more GGH!!! Just my 2 cents as usual. I wish someone had comparison pics of vert d'eau and papeete because they really aren't all that similar. Vert d'eau is a very muted green. It's not a bright color.....

I agree with this. I'd also much rather have Vert D'eau instead of Papeete. I actually also really love Maldives. I'm "on the fence" regarding putting my name down for Papeete....really wishing for VDE...
