I adore Vert D'eau and would be getting at least 2 more bags in that color if the boys redid it. But Mmmmmm Papeete looks yummy too. I'd be up for a Part-Time and a Day. A million thanks to you, Coco for letting T&D use your bags all the time! This cannot be said enough.

bagalicious, thanks for posting the pic above. I think Papeete looks best in the First style. But that is too small for (my) daily needs. Will you be getting anything in Papeete if T&D will run it?

xooey- Yes i think i will (don't throw tomatoes at the screen shelleybean and missann) i don't have a maldives or a VD, so this would apease my soothing green/blue urge..I think if it happens I would either get a RH work..what a surprise...or a GSH day.

Are you getting a Galet Xooey? what style and combo if so? I'm getting a GSH work or a GSH day..not decided yet.

Maldives seems to be slowly catching up to my "List of Needs".
This is not good.

The vert deau is too green for me

Does anyone here have one? I don't know when nbf did that colour... but if anyone here owns one, show me a photo please?

I really dig the colour (like a washed out jean), but the seller calls it maldives clearly it's not. Can anyone tell me what this is?

It is 08 Sky Blue but seriously faded and is in poor condition.

Maldives has more green tone in there.

bagalicious, I will not be getting anything in Galet. I bought an Argent GSH City from a fellow TFS member not too long ago and that is one of my favourite bags. The leather is really the best out of my mini (compared to yours and a few others!) collection of T&D bags. Argent is a tad too similar to Galet, so I'll pass. I did check up the seller from whom you'd bought your lovely Grey WE from. The bags look really great, but prices are kinda for me. Think I'll still stick to good ol' T&D.


goddessh, on hindsight, I think Papeete looks better with RH. Maldives looks better with GSH. Are you keen in Pap?

Joanne- E mail the boys telling them you have an authentic Noix and they will tell you the rest! they don't expect you to send it to them without a litttle something something for yourself!

Xooey- I love Argent and GSH i wish i had a work in Argent in that combo, But like you said Galet will scratch that itch in my case.
I wanted a gray rh work so bad and I knew T&D wasn't making it, so I decided to try buyandsell, and I am very happy that i did, i will always favor buying from our boys, but sometimes you just want a color that they are not making or will not make..so you have to take matters in to your own hands i couldn't be happier with Gwyneth, she is a real beauty! I think a galet something with GSH will be a different look to my gwynnie!

I wonder why I didn't buy a Maldives and an Argent when they were on the NBF website...oh well you live and learn.
I wasn't around when they did VD.You can tell there popular as you hardly ever see those colors come up on resale sites.

I prefer my Papeete. It is a lovely seagreen color and much more intense than Vert D'eau or Maldives. I have a lovely Day Bag Papeete. The Papeete is a fun and happy color and looks amazing in a First, Twiggy, Day or City.
The Bal Stores in the US did not even order the Papeete Day bag and it is a very limited color. Not too many even have a Papeete anything and it is not even available on the Balenciaga Website.

I have been neglecting my Papeete since I got my Canard Velo but I will be carrying her again once my Velo goes to the boys.

bagalicious: T&D cannot use a Noix Bag they need a swatch to make Noix and they are looking for a Noix Coin purse. They will find one soon and we will all have our Noix

I think we should make a list on who wants Papeete

Ooops, sorry, I mistook Gwyneth to be a WE! I do regret missing out on Maldives too when it was released by T&D, but am glad I was able to get Argent GSH City eventually. You MUST get an Argent bag if you can! I am not exaggerating when I say the leather is fantastic. It is THICK, pillowy, relatively smooth and no shine! Really fabulous quality and one of the best leather T&D have ever produced. Please do grab one if someone lets go of it. I am sure those who own Argent will agree with me that it is a must-have!

I saw pics of the Maxi Twiggy style online and I think it may suit your needs too. I think you can look into the Maxi Twiggy style? It certainly looks very spacious and easy to carry on the shoulders.

xooey: Canard is rarer than Papeete but I would say that Papeete follows close behind. I think that Canard is the most beautiful Blue that Balenciaga has ever done. I know that bal.com will not have any Papeete and that only certain styles like the Giant City, Giant Part Time were ordered by Bal Stores in the states. It is also difficult to find Papeete in Europe. Balenciaga has cut down production due to the recession. I don't think that they anticipated the demand for the Velo in Canard. Many people want it and it is nowhere to be found. They are certainly losing sales with this one.

Don't fret, Alkistis. I missed Argent during the original run too and was extremely lucky to get her when a fellow TFS member let her go. I only got mine many months after the original run. It will pop up eventually (on ioffer, etc) when you least expect it.

coco109, I love Canard too, especially with the teal stitching. Between Canard and Papeete, I do prefer Canard. But I think this will be a difficult colour for T&D to replicate.
