pink - noix is nice, but i'm thinking it may be too brown for me. i think maybe a RH city in galet or sahara (or sandstone, blah blah blah) would be best. i would have loved a RH city in praline, but i wasn't into neutral bags when t&d ran that color. boo!

i do like papeete, but i have to agree with katinboots. i think it has something to do with the crappy leather you see on some of the auth bal bags. it's very flat and smooth and tends to look like plastic when done in a bright hue.

Did anyone else see that there is a person selling a medium PS1 on ioffer with an invite to the fashion spot as an xtra bonus...thats a bit cheeky

i am not offended by this as some of you seem to be, but i do think it's weird! surely no one would buy a bag just for this! i don't think...?

So yeah, pretty happy with what I got and it was a total surprise for sure. I was expecting the Stam and when I saw the CD dustbag I really thought they had sent me the wrong bag, I was so disappointed. Until I realized what it was! I thought the box was awfully light. Here are some more pics I took yesterday, everything lines up nicely (although one photo - the one with the snowy background - looks like it doesn't in the picture) and there is only one small "tell" with this bag that I'm aware of and unless you have the bags side by each as my French friends would say, I doubt anyone would notice.
Funny thing is, I had a dream a few nights ago that I had received a Stam and one side was Black and the other side was Brown. It was if they hadn't finished the edges on it, and the stitches on the quilting was white! And the chain was all wrong. I was about to email bagalicious about dying it so the both sides were the same but I didn't know how to keep the stitches white.(like why would I do that anyways?) Dreams, crazy, huh? Thank dog I woke up from that crazy a$$ nightmare!

is he making the clutch? i saw this on olivia palermo at an event a couple of weeks ago and it was a gorgeous bag. i could barely pay attention to her because the bag was so freaking nice. the nude color is just perfect from mulberry. it's a really good nude (sometimes they are so washed out).

ooh, i hope he does the clutch! his whiskey one looks great, but it just doesn't work with my wardrobe.

I'm totally excited about Galet. I think I'll get my first day bag in Galet. Noix looks gorgeous so I think I'll get a first in Noix. Papeetee is to die for! I'll definitely get a city with gsh in Papeetee.

This is overwhelming!

What's funny is that for a few years I've absolutely needed a first in black but I keep putting it off because I know black will always be available. I keep giving preference to the beautiful colors.

^ Now THAT made me laugh! I had to wait and lurk for months before I got my invite, I wouldn't dare give them out like water. Catty was my first and still my go-to girl...but T&D is easily my new !

Crystal, I just got a black RH city from T&D a couple of days ago and the leather is VERY thick and bubbly, and a tad shiny. I don't mind it but from the sounds of your post, you wouldn't be happy. It's nothing like the leather of my outremer city. I'm dying to wear it out but of course now I can't find any of the 5 bottle of Apple leather conditioner I have (heard that'll mute the shine a little, am I right?) . Story of my life!

uberprincess-thank-you so much for your honest review on the black leather, I truly appreciate it, your right I would have been disappointed in the leather, with conditioning your bag should lose some of it's shine, thanks again

missann: You know me so well! I was purring alright..... with my high heel maribou slippers, saran wrap teddy and an extra-dry martini. Yeah, it's like 9:15 on a Thursday morning. What? It's not like I had to drive my kid, er um, I mean uh, boy-toy to school!
meryll: Sorry to hear about your Deauville mishap from Catty. I know it has been mentioned on the thread that SOME of Catty's bags didn't have real leather piping. I guess yours was one of them. If it was a recent purchase, do you think she would exchange it for a new one? The only other thing you could do is maybe paint it to match the rest of the trim. Or a craft store may have some kind of leather-textured paint that you could apply.
iOffer invite: Didn't anyone else think it was somewhat humourous that Jacky & Catty were key search words? I know people will often search for "NBF" or "T&D" but now it's like Jacky & Catty are much sought-after bag manufacturing superstars!
The List: I'm really on the fence about this. I'm so not a bal-bagger but I'm really having a hard time about putting my name down for a Papeete Twiggy. (although I'd rather just GO to Papeete right about now)

And I am STOKED about the LV Damier Azur bag. I've been hemming and hawing about this bag for quite some time so I'll be posting a ton of pics when it comes! I broke down and got a wallet just because in the sea of beautiful bags I have, beyond a few Coach accessories, my wallet game is horrid. So, I figured I better start getting THAT whole situation straight as well.

I'd like to get away from LV, but I gotta say as I've said before, I'm hard on bags and that canvas is like teflon for me. It WORKS and prevents me from doing craziness to bags.

well, despite some aggravating issues with the post office and our mail delivery (package lost? ), i did successfully receive a most gorgeous bag today and it's been cheering me right up

i've been lusting after the rh city combo ever since i got my praline ggh work but i never thought i'd get her in brand new mint condition!
she is SO soft and smooth and puddles like no other. love this bag!
