has anyone else experienced fading giant gold hw on their bags? ive only carried mine for about 2 months everyday and the gold hw looks like its turning.

devon, Bagalicious - thanks for comments on the town RGGH version from B&S and cords etc - the RGGH does looks a little too shinyin the front-on pic, however when I looked at close-ups they looked a lot better with a darker look - but maybe not as darker as the auth do you think?
babyyorkie - the town sounds just perfect in terms of size if it can fit as much as a City yay! sometimes i find my velo a tad too deep, so a Town sounds perfect for me. Do you use the Town much - and may I ask what color you have?

i had j's LV SC in cobalt and really think it's an exceptionally well made bag. the leather is soft and the interior suede lining is very good quality. i've seen the auth and think j's looks really good. i say go for it!

Thanks Chupi, I've been considering Leather Revive but I've heard it's pretty harsh?

Well it does stink!

The initial smell is pretty strong, like super strong leather polish with a slight chemical hint. But I aired my bags for a week or so and voila! They have a nice sweet leather smell now so all is well.

The smell is bad but for the results (and the price) is so worth it. It super de-shines and softens all leather, so you get that lovely smooshy leather, It was definitely good on my sang

devon - i totally agree with chupi so be warned it does have a very strong smell but it seriously works wonders. used it on my dried up raisin and it turned sooo supple. my galet day rh is definitely thin and shiny like yours, very different than my outremer for sure. will probably use leather revive on it since apple care didn't do anything for the shine

Missed my edit time, but T&D just told me they won't be running Turquoise *sobs* Maybe they'll consider running it next summer? I'll just have to dream about a turq city until then *sniff*..

Exactly what I was thinking Chicadee, it's perfect for thick stiff leather. I leather revived my praline bag and it really helped

Sorry to disrupt the flow, but is there anyone here who was unhappy with their Sorbet bag(s)? I just got mine like, a week ago and I'm almost certain it was a different batch of leather from the ones people posted pics from a month or so ago. It's shiny as hell, kind of rough to the touch (when I searched the thread, PinkPrincess said her First was 'silky') and thin. It's a Day and it just doesn't work for me. In fact I kind of hate it, and wish I'd gone for a Flat Clutch GSH .

I've emailed T&D but they say they're 'pretty sure' they're sold out of Sorbet FC GSH. Gah.

Seriously? I already prepaid for Anthra City GGH, they never mentioned to me that they might not make it.

i wanted to prepay too for the anthra parttime but they told me until they'll have some girl wanting that combo they won't make it! they must buy the zippers ( 30 meters is the min. quantity ).
maybe you should ask them!

Hey candy....Thats great news..time flew by!

Does anyone think its a bit odd that T&D do not buy 30 (or however many they need for minimum purchase) zippers and just have them in stock so they can make them whenever people order them..I mean i can understand them not wanting to MAKE the bag in diff colors and combos and have them laying around,..But the zips wont go bad..There's no expiration date.
I just think its strange that they dont buy them in minimum bulk orders and make them when they get an order.

bagalicious: A lot of T&D's business practices seem very odd to me... I'm a total maniac for organization, and the haphazard nature (or so it seems from the outside!) of some of their business is just making me itch to make them a load of spreadsheets and tables or something...

BUT surely you need to have some stock in reserve to make your popular products..It seems that everything has to be pre paid and ordered by a raise of hands these days So there is no outlay in buying anything it seems.I guess thats the way they like to run there business Oh Well
I would have thought having at least black and anthra zippers in all sizes in stock would be a good call...(and Rose hardware + zips...they know they will use it even if its on blacks and anthras eventually.

Its kinda like me only having grey eyeshadow in my make up kit if i know i am going to have 5 clients who will want it?
I have always subscribed to the concept of "You have to spend some money to make some money" In my biz anyway.

i don't know what to think, seriously, they told me they bought Black and Noix gold zippers, but not anthra.. so i asked how much would be the price for 30 mt zippers, so, if it wasn't too much and i can afford that, i would buy it by myself, but no answer
i don't think it will be a great expense!

Can anyone tell me how good is T&D's GSH?

I might want to ask them to do anthra GSH city....
Are the silver studs good quality? And how do they match the real in terms of shine, color, detailing and endurability?

Any info would be MUCHOS appreciated!
