I just bought the prada leopard canvas tote from catty (P-323) and she said she can't ship it to me by FedEx this time because customs will sieze it. Instead she had to send it by airmail...

has this happened to anyone else?

So Fang Fang convinced me to take this one. Can anyone spot any obvious flaws or what is wrong with the bag or it's all good?

i suggest to read this blog before you decide to buy a chanel rep
is it a medium sized one? the bag looked good, but try ask for the inside of the flap pictures.

plastikparty: i have 2 sorbet and both r smooth. this batch of leather is smoother than others, but it will get softer VERY fast. if u want, you can condition it now. but use it for couple days u will see. it depends on ur reference, but in this case, u prefer wrinkle leather. sorbet is NOT the one though, unfortunately

i got a sorbet city RH bag from t&d, kinda disappointed with the first purchase!
leather was stiff and dry.
no much wrinkles as shown in the picutre on their ioffer page
is the bag supposed to be very light??
is there anything i can do about the bag??

plastikparty- I have 3 sorbet bags from the boys 2 with GSH and the twiggy the leather on my twiggy is lighter as well i conditioned it several times one of my favorite bags now. I have noticed that the leather on the GH bags is a bit thicker but do condition the bag it makes a big difference HTH's

Just an update on my Fang neverfull: there isn't a date code on it. Not a huge deal really...but I'm paranoid that one day someone will say, "ooh, when was it made?" and then ask me to produce a date tag....I emailed her and am waiting back to see what she says~

baby_yorkie & crystal_7: yeah! the leather is definitely smoother and really dry, so im afraid if i carry it out it will scream out fake, i know its an imitation but our boys makes the best bals right O^! What do you recommend besides apple care?? btw is the strap supposed to be short, i realised when i use the strap th bag is somewhere around my belly button??

haha, wow, I guess I was so excited writing my last post I forgot how to type correctly
I meant T&D weren't kidding when they said they're now having the leather professionally conditioned. It's a dream right out of the package. SOOOOOO luxurious. I'd say this batch of leather is just as silky soft and delicate as the old chevre vert d'eau-- yes, it's that fantastic!

the color is definitely not a cheerful marigold, but a dead ringer for curry powder/yellow mustard. this shade is perfect for those who don't like bright, saccharin sweet "young" colors, as it is very muted and understated.
me likey!!! very wearable for all seasons. I can't wait to pair this with some charcoal and dove greys, emerald and military greens, even red. GORGEOUS!!!
if you are hesitant to get something in moutarde, don't be. you will kick yourself if you miss out on this fabulous leather and color.
