Does anyone know if J's Celine Box in oak is the correct color? I'm having trouble finding good pics of the auth. TIA!!

I'm not certain, but I don't think that Celine made a classic box close to that color?

this is the only bag i can think of close to a brownish? (credit to lvmhcn.com)

Also, I found a few sellers on taobao whose box bags look good and the prices on their luggage seem reasonable. They also have the nanos up. Can I post their links here? I figure since they're on taobao and easily found with a simple search, they don't have Jacky levels of secrecy? I'd really like to see what you all think of their quality!

I know, I know. But to each her own burr under the skin, n'est pas?

For me it's the "O" rings and straps, which is why I remove the straps and use the handles. For others it may be the zippers, pockets, etc.

I've often wondered why the boys keep a few details wrong.

By straps, do you mean the bales?
I really don't think that's a detail t&d care to "fix". The conversations I've had with them regarding minor details lead me to believe there's nothing they can, nor care to, do about the dents in the bales--or rather, lack thereof-- aside from seeking blacksmiths for hire to heat the metal to malleable temperature and manually hammering in those dents one by one.
In other words, they're not going to hassle their hardware suppliers with a request to change their current mold or add dents post-production. I can only imagine how that conversation would go down.

"hi, could you put some teeny tiny dents in your metal bales?"

". . .um, what. . ?"

Agreed!!! It is what it is. Ladies, we need to remember that these are reps. If you can't accept minor details being off, then you need to buy the real deal. Just saying.....

I tried to put the dips in myself and it would just not work. The pliers just left these ugly sharp dents :C

Oh wells. The way i see it is no one will really stare that clsely at your strap anyways and besides depending on the angle the bales looks like they have the dip. ^___^

Btw the celine bags are so nice especially that box bag!! I was contemplating getting the box in oak when j had it on sale but the color just didnt seem right. Like t seemed too light.
