the point is not that she is too thin, it's that she seems sick. either she is making herself this way or she has a diseases.
either way, i don't think this topic is productive. lots of celebs have eating disorders; what they need is treatment, not scrutinization.

Her skin and hair are very dull...her hair is thin...skin is gray, dull, sallow, at times (like her hands) purple.....

But I love her anyway...she just looks really sick.

I think she had to lose the weight for a movie role or something. last year she was reported saying she was so hungry and couldn't wait till Thanksgiving so she can eat.So I don't think she has a body image disorder, but just had to look different for a movie role.

I don't know. In some she looks thin but basically ok, in others she doesn't look healthy.

The last few pictures of her are awful...she looks ill! I think in the other shots she looks thin but still ok.

I think its obvious in certain pictures that she goes through bouts of some type of ed/starvation/bulimia. [let's assume its ed and not drugs].

then other pics shes 'normal' or nicely slim.

compare those pics above with her shapely & fuller BLUE CRUSH look & the difference is clear.

I have seen other pics from the last 1-2 years like those above where she is clearly TOO thin.

so I think she goes through phases of ed/starvation. but not all the time.
hope shes better now, shes 1 of my fave actresses & i LOVED her in blue crush.

well m-k olson of course looks bad, shes been in rehab at least 2 or three times for anorexia & some have said also coke addiction.

i think she suffers a case of bubblehead a la liya kebede... she is too skinny, her collar bones also remind me of liya... and im not bashing liya, i actually like her

I love her body from the waist down but her chest scares me. That being said, I think we are all thinking the same. She has a pretty face and I love her, I hope she doesn't have any health problems, given that she's a smoker etc

no, I doubt it. she's young and the nasty physical effects of smoking wouldn't be that obvious yet.

she did have to lose a lot (arguably unhealthy) of weight for Beyind the Sea because her character (Sandra Dee) was anorexic. but it seems like she never gained it back like a year and a half after filming finished.

Possibly the experience losing all the weight to lead an anorexic life to portray the character lead to habbits that stuck, combined with the stress of her relationship/break-up and the media attention.

for some people the effects of smoking do show up when youre young....the sallow skin, thin hair, bad teeth can happen at any point...
